“Our stay at Jack’s treehouse was exactly what we needed - an escape to the woods. Jack was friendly and after showing us around let us just do our thing. It was a super hot day and the windows don’t open or have screens in them so we were worried it would be unbearably hot but it stayed a fine temperature in the shade of the trees with the fans blowing and was lovely and cool at night. Great time, can’t wait to stay in the fall under the foliage or the winter in the snow!”

“We had an excellent getaway to the Red Caboose. It was clean and welcoming, and we felt safe traveling there during Covid-19. The caboose is really special accommodations-wise, with lots of fun little extras. We knew Randy was a super host, but he went above and beyond with this stay. The caboose is thoughtfully decorated and arranged to fit a lot into a small space. We were pleasantly surprised there was TV, wifi, and outdoor sitting areas and games. We even enjoyed roasting s'mores over the firepit our second night. Randy is an excellent host, and we highly recommend this fun place to stay in a great location!”

“We especially enjoyed Sergio’s deep knowledge of Portugal and Porto history and his ability to tell it as if it were a story. He had illustrations from centuries past of the sights we saw. Then he described what happened there and how and why it has changed since. He was very interactive giving us small questions that helped you to think and learn. He’s written several books (novels) based in Portugal history . He really brings the sites alive. Good way to get a sense of Porto and it’s history. And very friendly personality! Highly recommend!”
