Places to stay in Kilgetty
A truly unique place to stay. The Jetstar is a first class plane that would have carried up to nine passengers. Built in the seventies it retains most of the original features including a lit up bar area. It appears to have crash landed and on the back is a double bedroom in the style of a first class ships cabin. There is a loo and cold water basin on board the plane and the cockpit has an xbox with some flight games. There is a well equipped shower block on site with hot showers and fridges
The cabin consists of a double bed, there is a single bed behind the cockpit but this is only 5'7" or 170 cm which is fine for a lot of adults but not all. There is also a leather sofa on the plane which is 6'4". It may well be suited more for a couple or two adults and two children. There is a loo on board and cold water only sink for brushing teeth etc. The cabin and the cockpit are powered by mains electricity however the fuselage has the planes original lighting and is powered by car batteries and should be used economically. However there is a double plug with usb ports which lamps can be plugged in. A blue tooth compatible CD and radio is mounted in the main fuselage .To the rear of the aircraft is a separate kitchenette. Comprising:- gas hob, fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave.
South Pembrokeshire is popular in holiday seasons as it has so many great sandy beaches and clear sea. This campsite is away from the crowds, in a quiet rural area with fields, farms and country houses. It's easily accessed by a lane or two from the road to Tenby. South Pembrokeshire is popular for visitors and holiday makers, in season the towns can be busy but our site is like a retreat. Lots to do for children, activites and adventure theme parks are close by. Great for history buffs with Castles and historical places of interest dotted around. If you like hiking, the Wales Coast Path offers great walks and views.
  • We visited for my son's birthday, he's plane mad so this seemed like a great idea. It did not disappoint, we all loved the Jetstar and the quirkyness of the site in general. He's already asking when we can return! Also, Wolf was incredibly friendly and helpful.

  • Great place to stay 👍

  • Our experience - A truly amazing stay. We were shown around the whole campsite, which was lovely. Host added lots of small touches, like leaving us an umbrella when it rained, and showing us the different camping opportunities available at the site. 10/10 stay. Extremely cool. Brilliant for anyone who likes a unique stay or likes planes. What to expect - Xbox In the cockpit. There were also cards, games, DVDs and Xbox games at the jet star to enjoy. It was amazing to watch Goldfinger, in gold fingers plane! The location isn’t too far from Saundersfoot and a local Tesco (a short drive). The Jetstar has an indoor toilet, and an attached kitchen facilities. There are showers on site and a hairdryer. There is one double bed, one single bed and a small sofa. Steps to access the Jetstar, and some internal steps. A very quiet campsite, with lots of pretty bird sounds especially in the morning. If you are torn between which of the camping opportunities to go for, I’d say Looking at the different camping opportunities I think the Jetstar was the coolest. However, I definitely want to try the UFO In the future. We stayed here in January. If going in January I’d recommend bringing wellies (or waterproof shoes) as the grass was quite wet due to the weather, and plenty of layers (however there are heaters inside the Jet Star). An honestly amazing stay which I’d recommend to everyone I know.

  • This Jet Star II experience is a lasting memory, with an Xbox 360 fitted to play in the cockpit, the travel games available, the array of CDs to play and DVDs. So bring your DVDs or music CDs if you fancy your own choice. There is a fridge, toaster and microwave, shower facilities and a kitchenette available too.

Clean, space very well used and the views are lovely. We had complete privacy but also Annette was available in case we needed something. 10/10 totally recommend.

  • We really enjoyed our stay at Island View Cabin. Annette and Bob have obviously put a lot of love and effort into their cabin creating a very cosy and welcoming place to stay with lots of extra little touches. Perfect for a chilled, relaxing break away

    Nicola2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely little cabin with so much to offer! Beautiful views of the sea from the upper deck. Inside, thoughtful touches and attention to detail are evident everywhere, from the personalised welcome board hanging on the wall, to the dressing gowns and slippers provided, and hand-drawn maps of the local area - Annette and Bob seem to have thought of everything. Although the cabin is situated at the end of their garden, it feels private and tucked away, and we were never disturbed during our stay. Highly recommended!

    Nicole2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • What a beautiful place to stay, the perfect location to get to Tenby town. All the beautiful added touch were lovely and everything is labelled so there is absolutely no getting it mixed up. We are gutted we didn’t book for longer, but really cannot wait to stay again. Thank you so much.

  • We would definitely recommend staying at 'Caban Bach' as its like a home from home. Set in a lovely quiet location but only a few minutes walk to the beach, local shops and restaurants. Debbie and Luke made us feel at home and were really helpful with suggestions on where to eat and visit. The town is a very dog friendly place and as we visited out of season our dogs loved going to the beach everyday. (the dogs also enjoyed exploring the enclosed garden too). Looking forward to returning in the future.

    Tim2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • My partner and I stayed in this lovely cabin so close to the sea for a long weekend break. What a delight! A cute cabin, lovely touches inside, clean and organised, lovely garden for the dogs to play, very cosy and so close to the beach...we could not have wished for more. Fast comms from Debra and Luke at all times. A perfect stay in the most beautiful spot. If only we had one more day... thank you! 😊

    Joolz2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Cabin is very cosy and comfortable with plenty of space for us and our dog. The garden is a nice bonus. We were lucky with the weather and walked to Tenby one day and Amroth on another taking the coastal path which is very nearby. In the evenings it’s just a short walk down to Saundersfoot with a good selection of quality bars and restaurants. We will be returning in the summer.

    Steve2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Wow. Perfect. Everything you need to feel like a home from home (if your home is stylish, cosy, well equipped with a lush garden and near a beach).

  • Wonderful stay at the treehouse. The log burner was wonderful and kept the whole place toasty. The underfloor heating was also a treat. We loved waking up surrounded by nature and watching the birds feed while having a morning cuppa. I will particularly miss the hot tub x

    Kerry2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our treehouse adventure. So cosy, little one loved her little bedroom/den and of course buck the deer! Stargazing in the hot tub listening to the owls hooting was magical. We even managed a row on the pond. Thank you Carol Anne and Martin for your hospitality-cheese board was a lovely welcome too.

    Kimberley2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing stay at the treehouse everything we expected and more

    Jade2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place in an amazing location. Beautiful and private all at the same time. Everything we expected and more. The hosts had gone above and beyond and even added personal touches to make it even more special. We stayed there over the weekend of storm Dennis and even though at times you would feel the odd shake from the wind (only to be expected) I never felt unsafe! Even spent the night time sat in the hot tub with Dennis whirling around us which was an experience we’ll never forget! Cannot thank them enough we truly had that best valentine weekend we could of wished for and we will certainly be back again!

    Grace2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • I am struggling to find the words to describe just quite how amazing our stay in the Treehouse was, we were there for 4 nights which covered storm Ciara visiting and sitting by the fire while the rain poured and the wind howled was perfect, we even sat in the hot tub in the most appalling weather but due to it being very sheltered it was a fantastic experience. The Treehouse itself has so many little touches, the stove is lovely (and was lit for our 4pm arrival), the under floor heating is really nice to stand on in the morning! The treehouse was never cold (which did worry me!), I loved all the blankets that were available (didn't need them but I do love a blanket!). We saw lots of wildlife - lots of different birds including a wood pecker, and squirrels came to visit. You are very secluded in this little area and nobody overlooks you. Carol Anne suggested a curry for the first night (I cannot remember the supplier) it was really delicious and she offered advice on where to eat etc. Locally Narberth is a lovely little town with many little cafes and independent shops, we also visited Tenby which has larger well known shops but retains its charm and has a selection of smaller independents also. Can also recommend Folly Farm (excellent if you have children, we didn't have any with us and still spent a fair amount of time there!), Manor Wildlife park (their animal experiences are fab, highly recommend you feed the red pandas!) and also Pembrokeshire Llamas (We walked Macsen and Myrrdin). We fully intend to come back next year xx

    Sarah2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place to spend New Year’s Eve. The hot tub made all the difference and the treehouse is so cosy. Martin was really nice and gave us some tips to visit the surroundings. Would highly recommend!

Victorian holiday cottage within the old town walls. Lovingly renovated with an emphasis on sustainability, character and a mix of contemporary and vintage flair. Compact, yet comfortable and open-plan. One bedroom with double bed, the other twin beds. Weekly bookings only during the peak weeks (Sat-Sat). No on street parking due to the location, but plenty of reasonably priced carparks within 2 minutes walk. If this property is booked, please look for our property next door. Gumfreston house!
We are a family which loves nature and the outdoors, and are happy to share our local knowledge with guests. There is a separate adjoining property backing onto the cottage (accessed through the double blue garage doors you can see on the cover photo). During the Spring and Summer other guests will be staying here, but during the Autumn and Winter we live there ourselves, so feel free to pop in to find out about the best beaches, walks or places to eat. Gumfreston is an old fisherman's cottage spaced over 3 floors. There is a cellar kitchen/diner downstairs, with living area on the ground floor and bedrooms/bathroom upstairs. Located within Tenby's old town walls just around the corner from the shops and 2 minutes walk from the nearest beach. Parking: A traffic ban operates within the town during the summer holidays (From 10am-5pm, although you are allowed through to load/unload). No on-street parking is available, but the nearest car park is the council run multi-storey 2 mins away which I give directions to upon booking. It's £25 for a weekly pass. All pricing info here: https://www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk/tenby-car-parks/tenby-multi-storey Sustainability: Gumfreston Cottage is powered by a renewable energy provider, and we're constantly thinking of ways to reduce our carbon footprint. That includes helping our guests to be thoughtful and conscious of their waste and recycling, limiting single use plastics by providing refillable products and toiletries, and trying to promote local producers. Tenby is the jewel in Pembrokeshire's crown surrounded with world-class stunning beaches. A great place to relax on sunny days, or enjoy braving the elements during more blustery times! During high season (school holiday periods) we only take weekly bookings, with Saturday as the changeover day. Shorter stays available during off-peak times. Because we are within the town walls it can get lively on the streets outside during the weekends and bank holidays, especially during the summer. We would advise sensitive sleepers to bring ear plugs just in case! Bedding and towels provided to sleep 4. Toiletries too including soap, shampoo, conditioner.

  • Abi’s place is in a wonderful location, close to all the amenities Tenby has to offer. Everything you need is within walking distance. The property itself is set over three floors and having the kitchen in the basement was a very quirky touch. Beds were comfortable and a decent size, just remember to duck as some of the door frames are quite low, if like me you’re over 6ft!! 😀 Overall a great setting for a short trip, would definitely recommend to others.

  • Very welcoming host and extremely informative when we arrived on what was in the area. I would definitely recommend the Indian at the end of the road. Lovely walk down the road and great views from the house. Being able to park right outside was also great as weather was not the best when we stayed.

We are under half a mile up a gradual hill - just coming out of Kilgetty village where there is a large supermarket, pharmacy/ gift shop, post office/general store, bike shop, hairdresser, pub, Indian restaurant, Chinese takeaway, Fish n Chip shop/cafe, bakery and petrol station. So we are in a quiet, elevated position with lovely views just 2 miles from the nearest beaches - through beautiful forests to Wiseman's bridge and Coppet Hall. Saundersfoot - a pretty harbour village with lovely beach , nice shops, cafes etc is 2.4 miles away, Tenby a beautiful medieval walled town is 5 miles away. The coastal path is around 2 miles away
  • Great stay in a comfortable room with a country view, short walk from the station. Hosts were lovely and it made a good base for exploring the area for a couple of days so just having a room worked fine for me

  • Annie and Julian's Airbnb offer is exactly as described - so lovely not to have any unpleasant surprises! Was really thoughtful that they have put fairy lights in the hedge and were able to turn them on to guide me to their home - a haven amidst the darkness and rain! I had the single room which was more than adequate at a great budget price and had a lovely view too! House was well heated and bathroom cosy too. Would highly recommend.

    Ruth2019-09-24T00:00:00Z

Margaret was lovely and extremely helpful with any questions we had. We will definitely stay here again.

This holiday home is the perfect base for your holiday, no matter what type of holiday you enjoy, it is in a stone's throw of so many different adventures you can have in this amazing part of the Country, a real hidden gem. The 'Miners Walk' is located about 100m along the country road which offers a great walk all the way to Saundersfoot/Wisemans Bridge which takes about an hour or it's just a short 10 minute drive. Ideally located for trips to Folly Farm, Bluestone or Manor Park it's pretty much central to all locations. Narberth is but 5 minutes away which has some great restaurants and pubs. If you're into cycling then again it's ideally situated with some great routes down to Cresswell Quay and beyond which avoids the major roads. It really is a lovely quiet spot.

Supermarkets (Tesco and Morrisons) deliver directly to this location so no need to venture to the shops. It is the ideal base for exploring Pembrokeshire and West Wales. There are public footpaths and bridle ways nearby with access on to the Miners Path, which is a nice circular walk passing the Begelly Arms pub. Folly Farm - is round the corner, sometimes you can spot the giraffes on your drive to Honeywood! A really quiet location situated on a green with other cottages, with friendly neighbours. The house isn't suitable for 'parties' but great for outdoor BBQ's.
  • Well located, pretty cottage, warm and cosy. Some lovely walks from the door and nearby Saundersfoot is well worth a visit. Quiet location and secure garden space. We had a great trip.

    Sarah2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful place. Couldn’t have asked for better. All very clean and tidy, all the little things you’d forget are there and the little touches are fantastic - down to there even being a fire stick in the tv. Beds comfy, bath fantastic and kitchen just beautiful. Communication great and couldn’t be more helpful. We will definitely be back again, already looking at other dates. Highly highly recommend!

    Kayley 2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This property should come with a warning!! More than one infact! I shall start with that bath... the water stays hot enough to fill the whole bath ... there are candles to light.... there is space to put a wine glass behind you (be careful of having glass by the bath of course) and there is WiFi so I could use my Alexa to play Enya softly in the background .... heaven... why the warning?!?!? I nearly fell asleep the first time ever. Super relaxing comfy deep long Bath. Perfect after a long day walking the pooches to Broadhaven around the lily ponds. The other warning... that sofa... we lost three hours on that bad boy? Stupidly comfy and cosy in such a lovely space, loved the large window as it made it easy to keep an eye on the pooches when we let them out in the enclosed garden.... which is huge! Warning number three, I’ve already planned the next stay in my head and many more beyond that if they will have us back... the Sumer would bring the use of the BBQ the fire pit and full use of that garden, with such a lovely view too. Do not hesitate to book this stay ... unless it when I want to go.. in that case I saw it first!! Enjoy and most importantly relax

  • A wonderful and cozy place to stay. It is lovingly furnished, clean and cozy. The check-in with code lock worked perfectly, so it was no problem that we could only check in at 3:00 am due to traffic jams. A little attention with tea and pastries was ready for us. The property was in good condition and as stated on the description. The hosts were very friendly and at the same time our privacy was accepted. Absolutely recommendable!

  • Lovely, clean space, perfect for us and the dogs. Only a short walk to the town which was equally dog friendly - can highly recommend The Snug, lovely pint of Guinness and a free pool table. Drew is an excellent host, and the little touches like leaving tea bags, biscuits and milk in the fridge when we arrived made for a great weekend break.

  • Arrived on the Sunday to a super warm and cosy potting shed. After settling in we were greeted to make sure everything was in order, which of course it was. The bed super comfortable and the shower was perfect. Thank you for our and we will be back to use the hot tub and log fire !

  • Lovely cosy weekend getaway. Exactly what we needed.

    Beth2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • The Potting Shed is the perfect little place for a much needed get away. The place itself was super clean & tidy, much bigger than expected and hidden away. The little welcome hamper & hot tub were great extras too. Will definitely be back!

    Jade2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our stay at the potting shed and would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of booking. It is clean, cosy and very quirky and is in a great location. The hamper was a lovely touch and the hot tub makes it extra special. Thankyou Luke and Catherine for being great hosts.

  • We had a lovely stay at the Potting Shed over New Year’s Eve, getting away from the busyness of London. It’s a lovely rustic getaway for couples looking for some peace and quiet by the sea. We would happily come back and highly recommend it to anyone. Our hosts Luke and Catherine were very quick to reply to any all queries. Taking advantage of the hot tub is a must!

    Catherine2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful place! Quirky, private and totally relaxing. It was a great spot to be based for some time in Tenby and some much needed R&R at The Potting Shed. Catherine and Luke are wonderful hosts; thoughtful and quick to answer any and all questions. The shed itself is warm and cosy. The bed is super cosy and the shower delightfully warm. And the bonus on top of all this is the hot tub - a welcome treat at the end of the days we stayed (even in the depths of November cold). Would highly recommend and will return to The Potting Shed in the future.

    Nick2019-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing stay at the Potting Shed! The place is beautifully decorated and in a great location. Catherine and Luke were amazing hosts, on hand at all times if we needed them and extremely quick responses to any queries. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

Spacious, comfortable basement flat below our house, you will share our garden and decking and have direct access to a beautiful beach.
This is the basement of an old stone built house. It has exposed/painted stone walls in the large living room and a very convenient but convincing coal effect gas stove surrounded by very comfortable seating ideal for viewing the TV. There is a double bed in the living room and the bedroom is where you will find the staggered bunk beds. There is a patio directly outside the flat's kitchen which leads up a couple of steps to the garden and then to the spacious raised decking overlooking beautiful Saundersfoot beach. Open the gate at the end of the garden and down a few steps right onto the beach. The garden and decking are shared with us.
Saundersfoot village is a lively bustling place in the high season but more tranquil outside of the main Holiday weeks. It has a pretty harbour and a lovely sandy beach to enjoy safe bathing from. The village Itself is very flat for walking and has lots of small independent shops and eateries, and a choice of pubs to enjoy a real ale or two. It is an ideal stopover on the Welsh National/Pembrokeshire Coast Path and just a fantastic place to stay and ideal for exploring the wonderful county of Pembrokeshire
  • Lovely and cosy space and access straight onto the beach - lovely host and nice touches here and there.

    Geoff2019-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • We love Saundersfoot and it was great to stay in such a cosy home right next to the beach. We all had a really lovely and relaxing stay. We couldn’t ask for more, lovely comfy accommodation which suited us down to the ground and right on the beach which we, and our dog, love so much! Really spacious home from home and perfect for our family. Thanks so much!

    Kate2019-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • We very much enjoyed our stay in Saundersfoot. The beach is beautiful and the local amenities great. We walked from Saundersfoot to Amroth which was lovely across the rock pools and sand. Either direction you walk you can expect to find stunning views. The boys loved the fireworks and even took a dip in the sea!! Our little home from home is perfect and cosy and ticks all the boxes. We can’t wait to go back next year!

    Amy2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • A huge thank you to Tish and George for giving us an amazing vacation at their “little gem”. Such a beautiful location, on the beach at Saundersfoot, literally open the gate and step onto the sand! The apartment was also fantastic inside, extremely cosy and homely. Tish met us on arrival and showed us around the rooms and made us all feel super welcomed. Beautifully relaxing couple of days on the beach, walking, eating and watching the amazing Saundersfoot sunsets. Will definitely be visiting again.

    Mark2019-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Tish's place is just as described. Very clean and lots of extra little touches such as milk, sauce and cooking oil in the fridge. Fantastic location with direct access to the beach. We travelled as a couple and enjoyed a peaceful glass of wine on the decking but would be great if you're travelling with children as you could watch them on the beach from there. There can be a little bit of noise from the pub next door but one, however, this didn't go on late. Would highly recommend.

    Rachel2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely apartment in a great location. Sparkling clean and fresh. Beach was amazing.

    Alison2019-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • You won’t find a closer place to stay to the beach than this. It’s beautifully presented, has lots of helpful little touches that mean you don’t have to pack the world in your case. Can’t recommend highly enough!

    Luke2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • A little gem by the sea couldn't be more accurate. Great two days spent walking the coastal path and visiting Tenby and Saundersfoot. A perfect base and so homely and comfortable .Perfect for a break any time of the year.

The Roundhouse is a unique living space designed to provide comfort & style. Every feature has been lovingly hand made for beauty as well as functionality. The wood-burning stove adds a cosy feeling, while the extensive decking area allows you to make the most of the outdoors. Located in Begelly, the Roundhouse provides convenient access to Tenby, Saundersfoot & other areas of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. The quirky town of Narberth is also nearby.
  • A beautiful little place to stay which is close to so many places. Neil and Alex have created a modern space which is different to anything I’ve stayed in before. Little touches of tea, coffee and welshcakes on arrival help give a homely feel. Neil was helpful on arrival and clear instructions left if we felt we needed anything. Myself and Jason had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend. We look forward to visiting again soon.

    Nicola2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely stay in a really cool place. It was very cold the first night (we stayed end of Feb), but Neil provided wood for the burner the second night, which was greatly appreciated. Very good communication with good directions from Neil. Very convenient location, with takeaways and a shop close by.

  • What a fantastic tiny house, loved our stay and would recommend to anyone 😊

  • A perfect little cabin with everything you need to enjoy a few days in Pembrokeshire. Clear instructions which made it easy to get to. Tenby and Saundersfoot in easy reach. Small touches such as the milk and Welsh cakes to make us feel welcome. Thank you and will definitely be returning in the summer.

    Hannah2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • The round house is a lovely and snug place. We enjoyed very much our stay. Neil was very kind and helpful.

    Bastien2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • Firstly let me declare an interest and say that I do know the hosts....we live close by and our children went to school together. I also know some of Neil's passion and flair working with timber....... from large scale structural work to intricate carvings. When I needed to 'house' two unexpected extended family members for Christmas at short notice, Alex & Neil sorted things for me within 30 minutes.... If you want a palatial getaway packed with every electric device from robot a vacuum to a £1000 coffee machine and nearby shopping malls to while away your time........... you will be deeply disappointed. But if you want a unique bolt-hole for yourself or to share with a loved one and enjoy the countryside, the coast or just your own company for a few days....... this is the place for you The round-house has been imaginatively designed and lovingly crafted, from the structural timbers to the unique custom built units and furniture......and full of understated quality detailing. And as much care has been taken ensuring the house sits effortlessly in the environment.....the outside space is part of the house. My surprise guests are already planning to book with Alex and Neil to enjoy some long soft summer twilights, sitting on the wooden terrace drinking in the views, air and an aperitif or six. It is the nearest thing you can get to a tree-house on the ground...... even the smell of the timbers. Anyone who enjoys wildlife, painting, photography, a stopover walking the coastal path or a cycling holiday. Or just a break to relax and drink in birdsong, peace and clean air......... It was scrupulously clean, but Alex and Neil are not just good hosts...... They are experienced, thoughtful and imaginative and it shows in those special little touches, eg on Christmas Eve even when they were busy getting ready for their own family gathering .... they took the trouble to light up the house and garden for our guests at night .... they are both in their 60s but said it was 'magical and so very Christmassy'. It is also excellent value.

  • Modern, spotless studio in an ideal location to visit all areas of South Wales. My husband and I stayed in Kim’s studio for three nights and it was a perfect place for us. Spotlessly clean with everything we needed for our stay. A lovely, quiet, private location which was perfect for us to explore the area. Kim was a great host. She was there to meet us when we arrived and she had provided milk, bread, tea, coffee, butter, and jam! So thoughtful to provide basic provisions, especially if arriving late or after a long journey. If you are a couple and happy with a studio, this one close to Tenby and other places on the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast and of course the coast path, is perfect. We certainly recommend Kim’s place.

    Susan2019-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Kim’s place is so lovely, it’s very cute and cosy! It’s exactly what we needed for our overnight stay. It was super close to all of the places we wanted to visit so it was perfect. Also, I highly recommend a visit to the Dragon Palace Chinese restaurant (also does takeaway which we did) as the food was stunning! It took us about 3 minutes to walk there. Thank you very much again.

  • Amazing place, great location. Despite Storm Dennis we felt safe, warm and happy - very spacious for our kids (1 & 4) to play and relax between attempting adventures. Folly Farm is just up the road, excellent local Chinese (best Singapore Noodles we've ever had - and they delivered!). Comfy beds, lovely shower, brilliant kitchen for watching the kids play in the dining room. Netflix! Didn't even make it to the conservatory- but that looked excellent for chilling in the evening. Perfect AirBnB-ing!

  • A lovely spacious and warm home in a great location. Just a short drive to the beach and a walk to a fab Chinese! Peaceful but well connected, very clean and comfortable. We’d recommend it!

  • Great location, really easy to access both Saundersfoot and Tenby, and explore further beyond. Perfect size for a young family of five for a price equivalent to a hotel room! Carol was really helpful with any queries we had before our stay as well, and even let us check in slightly earlier than planned. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

  • Penny is a great host, and made us very welcome. The accomodation is spotlessly clean, and we appreciated not only the Welsh Cakes on arrival, but also the other biscuits, tea and coffee etc. It is great to be able to use the sitting room next to the bedroom and the table there, to sit and eat food. It is a very convenient location to get to all the local beaches and attractions.

I definitely will be returning even if it’s for a romantic getaway which is perfect for couples. I give this 4/5 accuracy as the photos and description did not do this place justice it was even more than I expected! Photos do not do this place justice the chalet is beautiful and much bigger than expected and the views are just lovely. Thank you so much for letting us stay with you, we hope to come back in the future, Chloe and Dilon.

  • We really loved our stay. The apartment was clean, well equipped and we were welcomed with cookies and fresh milk and some flowers on the table. The bed was comfortable, as well as the shower and the kitching can easily be used to make a meal for 2 or more.

  • This is a beautiful, bright studio that is surprisingly large. It was spotless and had the lovely added touch of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, chocolate digestives and fresh carnations on the table. Also salt and pepper. The kitchen has everything you need to cater for your trip. The animals are all friendly and the owners couldn’t do enough to help. The bed is beyond comfy, to the point that I want to buy the same mattress for home. Would highly recommend for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

  • Great accommodation. We can't recommend more highly. Everything you need is there. Dave & Angela were great hosts.

    Maureen2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • Really good place to spend a few days. The house is really nice and Dave and Angela take care of every detail. I would strongly recommend this place.

    Gonzalo2019-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Angela and Dave were absolutely wonderful hosts. They went above and beyond to make our stay very special. There was excellent communication beforehand and they recommended some great activities for us to do, including local surf schools, bike hire and walks. Their home was just beautiful and the chalet was spotless. The kitchen was fully equipped and they even provided things like washing up liquid and shampoo which made our stay that much easier! The view outside was stunning and the animal family that accompanied was a real treat, we will definitely miss Saffy and the cats the most!! Perfect hosts and a stunning location, we will definitely be returning!

    Rosa2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • A really lovely place to stay. It is quiet and peaceful and a great base to explore the Pembrokeshire coast. The chalet is spacious and very well equipped. We particularly appreciated the comfortable bed and place to sit outside and enjoy the evening sun. Dave & Angela are friendly and helpful hosts. We highly recommend staying here, it is a rare find.

Timber frame building. Suite benefits from sunshine all day, especially in the evenings where sitting out space and living area face west (depending on the season). Modest interior, plain pine joinery and basic cooking & washing appliances. Mains drinking water and BT Superfast Fibre unlimited wifi.
    Friendly historic village
  • Small but perfectly formed. Excellent value.

    Marc2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely accommodation, well positioned if you want to explore, a great welcome from the hosts - so nice to be able to make a cuppa after a long journey (the Welsh cakes were yummy too). We hope to return.

    Liz2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • The accommodation is clean with a good layout and everything needed to facilitate a comfortable stay. We found Adam and Kim respectful of our space and at the same time offering that they could be contacted if needed. The location is well placed for heading out to all areas of Pembrokeshire and is 10 minutes walk from Carew castle and its grounds.

  • A wonderful out of the way location, very quiet and clean. A great springboard for exploring the west of Wales.

    Stephen2020-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic accommodation, Adam and Kim made us feel so welcome with the lovely touches they added to the accommodation. It really felt like Christmas as soon as we walked in! It was beautifully cleaned and the instructions for how to use the facilities were very clear. Very close to everything that we needed. We will definitely stay again if we go to Tenby! Couldn’t have asked for better hosts, who were great with communication. Thanks so much for making our stay so lovely!

    Naomi2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • Adam and Kim's place is amazing. Beautiful little touches made the place so homey. Place smelled so good especially with the fresh tulips which were beautiful. There was a space to park our car right at the doorstep so it was convenient. Despite the place being beside a road, it was absolutely quiet and we had a good sleep. Their place is right smack in the middle of Tenby and Pembroke! Thank you for making our stay so lovely!

  • Lovely & clean, thanks Diane

    Nelly2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed here with my husband and 2 dogs for a week over NYE. We had a great stay. Narberth Town is a short walk away and has plenty of shops, 3 pubs and lots of places to eat. None of the pubs were serving food while we were there so can't comment on that but the Indian takeaway was amazing! There is a shortcut to town from the top of the holiday park its very muddy at this time of year so wear wellies/hiking boots but it's a much better route if you have dogs as you don't need to walk on the road. The lodge was lovely and cosy and has a nice decked area that has a gate so is secure for dogs. It was a great base to explore the area, we drove to Tenby, barafundle Bay and some other lovely beaches/coastal walks, all about a 30 min drive. Diane was a great host, very quick to respond to any questions I had. We highly recommend this place!

    Sophie2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Comfortable stay with all the facilities we needed. Quiet and sheltered hillside/woodland location, but close to the centre of Narberth

    Tim2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect home from home! Very spacious woodland lodge, in a he beautiful town of Narberth with an array of niche individual shops, places to eat, local greengrocers & supermarket. Handy too for visiting Saundersfoot & Tenby. The lodge has everything you could want, the big range cooker is fabulous & the added benefit of a washing machine if needed. On arrival the lodge was cosy & warm. There’s more than enough extra bedding, towels etc Lots of room in the fridge & adjoining separate freezer. Our Patterdale Oreo enjoyed time out on the gated deck & we knew she couldn’t escape. 10/10 for a fabulous Winter weekend getaway!!! Worth our 5 hr drive from Ormskirk, West Lancashire. Debs, Rob, Evin & Oreo.

  • I've stayed in numerous places at AirBnB and none can compare with the hospitality that came with this place. For the price, I was expecting it to be a little quirky, but the motorhome itself was efficient, modern, clean, spacious enough, comfortable, warm, I can't fault it! The host was lovely, inviting and nice to speak to. Very helpful with explaining how different things worked in the motorhome and friends and I hope to stay again soon!

    Danny2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Stef is super lovely and goes out of her way to give you the most wonderful and warmest of welcomes. Literally! We arrived to hot water bottles after a very wet and cold day at folly farm. The caravan is surprising roomy. Absolutely spotless. Fabulous views. Such great value for money. We will definitely be booking again. Hopefully next time though there wont be any weather warnings in place!

    Samantha2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Stef did everything to make our stay pleasurable. The only thing she could have done, was sorted the weather 😁 It was February in a caravan, but we were very cosy.

    Richard2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Stef was incredibly relaxed and patient with our change of plans, and arriving late after our gig. Very friendly and happy to just let us get on with it. Thanks Stef!

  • Emily and Paul, has great communication, almost instantly replying to my messages and were very helpful organising check in. There were lovely touches to the room, like the inclusion of very tasty welsh cakes and multiple choices for breakfast. The bed was very comfortable also. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

    Phabian2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely fantastic value. We booked Emily and Paul's studio as somewhere to lay our heads between two days of hiking with the dog. The space was clever, clean and felt completely private with its own entrance so we could come and go as we pleased which was handy with the dog! The guys had even left us some food for breakfast which was above and beyond, and much appreciated. The village itself is completely residential which Emily and Paul mention in the advert and suited us fine, but something to bear in mind if staying longer. The location was fantastic to drive out and sightsee the next day. Communication with Emily and Paul was easy and quick, and they were very welcoming about our dog. Thanks for a wonderful stay guys!

    Hannah2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • What a great find. Great hosts. Lovely breakfast hamper in room on arrival. Bed very comfortable. Emily and Paul are great hosts and went out of their way to give us a much needed break.

    Lynn2020-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great self contained space in a quiet cul-de-sac. No TV but some board games in the cupboard. The kitchenette proved very useful to warm up some homemade pies from the butcher in Narberth. Great breakfast hamper with fresh milk and juice in the fridge. Bathroom a bit chilly if you don't put on the light/heater when getting up in the night. Overall a great stay.

Lovely caravan. Step out of the patio doors onto the veranda with views over the large lawn and to woodland beyond. The caravan is to the rear of Oakdene where we, Des and Tina, live. It is screened by a fence and accessed through a gate after walking down the side of the bungalow. It is very quiet and peaceful well away from the road. Swallow Tree gardens is only ten minutes walk away where our guests can use the 5* facilities ie swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Close to beach.
A recently refurbished caravan and new decking/veranda, where you can sit and enjoy the peaceful setting and listen to birdsong, from the wooded area beyond. If you fancy a swim/sauna/steamroom its only a 10 minute walk away through a wooded area with fantastic sea views as you approach Swallow Tree Gardens. (There is a small charge). You can walk down to the village safely on a new footpath with sea views through the wooded area. For enthusiastic walkers it is only a ten minute walk to the famous Pembrokeshire Coast Path, one of the most stunning sections being the walk to Tenby. For our spring/autumn guests the caravan has central heating, is insulated and double glazed so soon gets toasty warm!
Saundersfoot is very popular with families with the main beach very close to the main car park which is great for easy access and shops nearby. Coppet Hall beach a little further along from the main beach is also very popular. There is a car park there and a kiosk for coffee/snacks. Modern toilet facilities and outdoor showers. Water sports such as stand-up paddle boarding too. The Coast restaurant which offers fine dining is at this great location. Saundersfoot boasts a pretty harbour with lots of fishing/boat trips, and lots of eateries. A blue flag beach offers safe bathing and lifeguards. Voted one of the ten best places to live in Wales by the Sunday Times two years ago. Oakdene is about 15minutes walk from the village so far enough away not to be too noisy but close enough to walk. Its proximity to the coast path is a special point for walkers. There are two large car parks in Saundersfoot.
  • It is a very comfortable room with a very nice garden. Close to tenby, drive for 5 minutes. We enjoyed the 4 days there.

  • Second time we've stayed at Tina and Des' caravan. The caravan itself is very spacious and spotlessly clean. There is a veranda that overlooks a little wooded area and garden - very picturesque and relaxing. The caravan has everything you would need. It is situated a short downhill walk from Saundesfoot and a five minute drive from Tenby. Tina and Des' are lovely.; they are the perfect hosts. We will definitely stay again

  • Perfect location , perfect accommodation , will be returning , great garden space , and quite roomy inside . Family very welcoming .

  • Just back from the perfect break in Pembrokeshire! The accommodation is just outside Saundersfoot and a short drive to Tenby. It’s a beautiful part of the world we hadn’t previously explored and we loved it. The scenery is beautiful and there’s loads to see and do. The accommodation was just as we’d hoped; a peaceful and spacious caravan. The veranda is perfect to soak up the quiet evening sunshine after a busy day of body boarding or coasteering. The additional opportunity to use a local campsite’s swimming pool was a fabulous bonus! Tina and Des were great hosts. They are so friendly and welcoming. They gave us lots of useful advice and tips and there were really thoughtful touches that made our holiday relaxing and comfortable, such as the use of their BBQ and storage for my dad’s wheelchair. From the first enquiry, Tina was on it and the communication can’t be faulted. A big thank you for helping us sort wheelchair hire and even getting up early to take delivery!

  • We had a brilliant week here. The accommodation was as described, clean and modern, everything we wanted. We are a family of 4 with two children aged 1 and 3 so were around the accommodation quite a bit. We also use of the most wonderful gardens! My 3 year old loved spotting different fruit and veg growing. Location wise, everything seemed to be 5 or 10 minutes away and we easily filled up our week. Still plenty more for us to explore and I am sure we will be back again (if Tina will have us)! Thank you Tina and Des for a lovely break and for all of the tips on things to do with the children.

    Lucy2019-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay in Tina’s wonderful caravan / chalet was such pleasurable experience. The layout was extremely spacious with a lovely outside balcony looking over A pretty natural garden. The location is central for walking into Saundersfoot and easy to link up with the beautiful costal walks that are on offer in this area. The host made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, such warm and friendly people. Thank you for making making our first visit to Pembrokeshire such a memorable one .

A stylish two floor private apartment with two bedrooms. It has its own entrance and covered parking space. There is free WIFI, a dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. We live next door so can advise you on the best places to visit. It is a five minute walk to Saundersfoot Harbour, shops, cafes and restaurants. Glen Beach with its rock pools is just 300 metres away along a quiet footpath. The Pembrokeshire Coastal Footpath is nearby. Family attractions such as Folly Farm, Manor Wildlife Park and the Blue Lagoon Water Park are a short drive away.
The apartment is modern, clean and well cared for. Jim has some photography displayed on the walls and Jean has made some lovely quilted bedspreads.
I love walking down to harbour to watch the fishing boats and the sailing races the stopping for a coffee in one of the cafes to watch folk go by. It's great to be able to walk along a quiet track to Glen Beach and walk along the sand. Then in the evening I love to be able to choose a take away meal to eat at home or a restaurant dinner. Often we visit other lovely places mostly on the Pembrokeshire coast such as the famous Barafundle Beach. We enjoy taking our grandchild to Folly Farm, to Manor Wildlife Park or to Tenby.
  • This is beautiful accommodation in a perfect spot for exploring Saundersfoot and Tenby. We stayed over Ironman weekend and the location was ideal. Would definitely stay here again!

  • This was our first AirBnB adventure and it far exceeded our expectations. Our super host Jean could not have been more accommodating and the sparkly clean property was perfectly situated to enable us to enjoy visiting the local area. The extra touches Jean offered, like stair gates to keep our little girl safe, were very much appreciated and meant we could fully relax and enjoy our time away. From the point of booking right up to our arrival the communication was excellent and the ‘local tips’ in the property were incredibly useful. We would definitely recommend this property and would happily stay here again if we were to return. Thank you.

    Kate2019-08-26T00:00:00Z

  • Fantastically clean appartment, located close to the centre. The hill on the way home looks daunting, but is really not that bad! Jim and Jean were great at making recommendations for our wet weather day, and we loved Glen Beach. Thank you for a lovely week!

  • Spacious apartment/loft accessed by a private side entrance. Plenty of room for two people, full kitchen and good wi-fi. Very clean and tidy, with lobby area to store muddy boots and coats downstairs. Private off street parking. We stayed for a full week, it was a great base to explore Pembrokeshire. Large Co-Op just down the road, which stocked everything. All in all, a great place to stay! Thank you Dianne and Arthur.

  • This AirBnB is based in Kilgetty which has a train station, good sized supermarket and has good access to the surrounding area including Stackpole National Trust, Tenby and several beaches. The AirBnB itself is clean and tidy, and has a good sized garden attached for if you are taking your dog with you.

  • The hosts were very welcoming and made me at ease. The Loft was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The wine, biscuits and milk were a lovely surprise. The Loft was a great base to explore the coast around Saundersfoot, Tenby and Pembroke. I will definitely stay there again when I visit Pembrokeshire.

Situated in a quiet valley surrounded by fields, bordered by a strip of native woodland trees, Swan House is a former Ale House used by miners in the 1850s. In this self-contained studio attached to our residence, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen and cosy living space with an adjoining bedroom (king-size bed) and en-suite shower room. Walk to the top of the field to watch the sunset, or have direct access to Pembrokeshire's historic footpath network, the Landsker Trail/Miners' Walk.
You'll have sole use of a private decked area beside a fern banked stream and a small garden area - the perfect spot to sit back with a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. In the winter this is also a perfect spot to wrap up warm with a mug of hot chocolate and look for shooting stars in the huge dark night skies. In the spring we have a profusion of blossom and bluebells; through the summer we have flowers, house-martins and swallows; blackberries and apples in autumn - all on your doorstep. You'll find Pembrokeshire's world famous beaches just a ten minute drive away. Enjoy Britain's only coastal National Park with panoramic views on the 186 miles of coastal path, surf at Freshwater West or paddle in the clear water at Saundersfoot - there's something for everyone. Only six miles from Tenby it's the ideal location for anyone interested in Ironman Wales – a renowned annual triathlon course that takes place across the stunning county, circumnavigating Swan House, and attracts visitors and participants from across the world. In November Tenby also hosts a weekend Jazz and Blues Festival which has, historically, attracted some big named artists and is well worth a visit. We're also a short drive to the beautiful open spaces of the Preseli Hills and a ten minute drive away from quirky Narberth, nominated for the 2018 High Street of the Year; named the UK’s cleanest and greenest town (September 2019) and is featured as a Great British Break in The Sunday Times (25/8/2019). It's a charming small town full of antique and bric a brac shops, galleries and restaurants - the perfect place to while away an afternoon. Or if you fancy something a little more 'lively' then there are all kinds of watersports, coasteering etc within a very short drive and, in July, there is a weekend of Hot Rod racing on the famous Pendine Sands just over the border into Carmarthenshire. Off road private parking directly beside your holiday accommodation and secure bike storage.
  • This is an immaculately clean space that had everything you needed for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. The accommodation is well situated and easy to find, it is also a great spot to base yourself to explore West Wales. Gareth and Sarah were on hand to speedily assist with any queries we had and provided lots of advice / materials about what to do in the local area. It’s a very cosy spot and it has a quiet and peaceful atmosphere that is ideal for unwinding. Everything inside is nice and modern and there are clear instructions regarding recycling etc. The bed was very comfortable and spacious and all bed linen and towels were spotlessly clean. A really lovely place and somewhere that’s worth more than just the one visit

  • Superb stay in a great location! Close to the coast while being in a quiet location. The annex itself was well stocked and the kitchen had everything you needed. Lovely, friendly hosts too. Everything you need for a brilliant break away!

  • The Studio at Swan House is a delightful property in a beautiful rural setting. The studio provided spacious and comfortable accommodation and was spotlessly clean. Gareth and Sarah were very welcoming, provided useful information about the area and were always on hand if we needed any assistance. Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits being provided were a thoughtful touch after a long car journey. The kitchen and living area are a really good size for studio type accommodation and we were able to entertain my parents who were staying on a local caravan site which was really nice to be able to do. Overall we couldn’t have asked for more and would thoroughly recommend this studio to anyone looking to explore this lovely part of Wales.
