Traditional Japanese architecture tucked away in a great Berkeley neighborhood. Peaceful and quiet but just a few blocks to UC Berkeley, all the restaurants of the "Gourmet Ghetto", and the North Berkeley Bart station. Berkeley Short Term Rental Registration # ZCSTR2017-0007
Traditional Japanese building with Tatami mats, organic queen size futon, and an "Ofuro"- a deep and luxurious soaking tub (similar feel to a hot tub). Entering the tub requires agility as it is high and you have to stand on a bench, sit on the edge of the tub, and swing your legs around. If you have any questions about that please ask (and see pictures). Lots of natural light with five skylights. Older wooden building with a somewhat rustic feel. The woven grass tatami mat floors have a noticeable smell of dry grass which we find to be lovely, but may not be for everyone. Comfortably sleeps 2 in new all natural foam mattress. Minimal kitchen with small fridge, tea kettle, and small toaster oven. We use fragrance free and non-toxic cleaning materials and provide Dr. Bronners hand soap. There is a fan available for use.
Peaceful neighborhood just minutes from downtown Berkeley and UC Berkeley. Close to amenities including restaurants, coffee (Philz!), grocery stores, Farmers' market (Thursday afternoons), ice cream parlors, beauty salons, and drugstores.
  • Absolutely lovely stay, the hosts provided so much for us and even included local guides for a variety of items. Everything in the description was as mentioned or better. Would definitely come back if the opportunity arises.

  • Staying at Zan and Rainbow's teahouse was a relaxing endeavor made complete by the bedroom's sliding door which so cozily encapsulated our slumber we woke feeling as though we'd spent a night as we might have as young babes; rising fresh-eyed and buoyant.

~~UPDATE 3/13: Gigabit fiber coming soon! Note that our neighbor’s house is undergoing a full renovation. While it’s not always consistent, you may hear construction noises on weekday mornings.~~ Glamour + camping = glamping! - Centrally located to BART, UCB, & restaurants - BART (7 blocks) to SF in 25 minutes - Wifi, linens, towels, coffee, & tea provided - Big ol' yard with chickens - One of two Airbnb spots here, so you might meet some other travelers! It's like a hostel, but clean. ;)
Welcome! Enjoy all the comforts of home in this fabulously restored vintage caravan. Come say hi to the chickens, enjoy coffee and tea in the garden. You'll be close to pretty much everything and BART is 7 blocks away. We look forward to hosting you! The house is on the same property where we live with our 2 small children. We are very family friendly. Come glamp in our little slice of country life. This 1964 Kenskill camper has been fabulously restored and customized so you can play "pretend camp" while enjoying the comforts of home. This is a great spot especially if you've ever been tiny-home-curious. In a previous life, this caravan was the food truck for Katie Cupcake, serving up the delicious treats in Flagstaff, AZ. You're sure to enjoy sweet dreams. ;) We rearranged the interior so it feels much more spacious than the traditional layout. It's really quite nice inside. And yes, there's even a full bathroom with a proper flush toilet, sink, and small separate shower. The stall is short so taller folks need to get creative to shower. Towels and linens provided. Mini kitchen has a working gas range, double sink, microwave and fridge. Coffee and tea provided, plus feel free to gather some eggs for breakfast. Watching "chicken TV" is a relaxing way to enjoy the garden. You may encounter our two kitties, Cowboy and Beebop. Our place is one of those homes that's all front yard, and we positioned this trailer so you can sit at the dinette and enjoy a view of the garden and our silly flock of chickens. Some people ask about safety. We've lived in the East Bay for 20 years, sampling the whole socioeconomic spectrum of neighborhoods. We've felt more at home here in this slice of town that we've felt anywhere else in the Bay Area. Put on your city smarts and you should be A-OK. That being said, there are lots of great places to eat and drink nearby whether you want to walk, bike or drive. Three great new restaurants are nearby: Sideshow (excellent beer garden with delicious dinner options), Cassave Restaurant (delish El Salvadoran grub and a full bar) and Easy Creole (casual, tasty, and fast). Our favorite local spot is Sweet Adeline with delicious pastries and tasty coffee. There's another coffee and sandwich shop, Alchemy Cafe next to Easy Creole. It's straight out of Portlandia. On Tuesdays, there's a farmer's market from 3-7pm just a couple blocks away! Venture a little further and hit up the big Temescal Farmer's market on Sunday mornings. Your hosts are two UCB alums and former co-opers. Lewis is a programmer by day, musician by night. Ginger is a Jill of All Trades, ranging from glassblowing to finance. Jules (age 5) and Pasqual (age 3) are our little greeters. We'll leave you to your own devices, but don't hesitate to ask if you need anything. Thanks for looking and happy travels! ***FAQ*** Q. Is there heat? A. Yes, we provide a space heater that keeps it warm and cozy. Q. Is there hot water? A. Yes, there is a dedicated on-demand water heater for the caravan. Q. If we don't want to share the bed, is there room to put a mat on the ground? A. Kind of, but I wouldn't recommend it. You could fit a mat on the walkway to the bathroom, but then you'd have to step on each other to get around! Q. Do you have luggage storage? A. Sure, we can fit a few pieces of luggage in our supply room. Q. Where do I park? A. Parking is onstreet . If you don't get a spot just outside, you can usually find one on the block. Watch for street sweeping signs (a few hours out of the month). Q. Can I bring an animal? A. No. We need to keep the space allergen-free. Q. What about assistance animals? A. Due to past trauma, dogs of any size are not allowed to enter the property as they pose a health and safety risk with our particular circumstances.
For some reason Airbnb doesn't know how to place us on the map. We're on the same block as Lois the Pie Queen -- a neighborhood fixture and solid greasy spoon diner. Although our neighborhood is not the prettiest, we have a great community and are happy to be raising a family here.

  • Awesome space. I felt like I had stepped into a portal and hopped back to the 70s, then had my soul licked by a child who was born at a Grateful Dead concert or burning man! I loved it. It’s the Barbie doll caravan that I always wanted for my non existent hippie Barbie!

    Kelcie2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Definitely a out-of the-norm experience in Oakland. Chickens, gardens, funky/groovy camper that is both unique and functional. Enjoyed the fact that they accommodated a last minute booking, as well as, an additional day which I booked the following morning. Definitely not your run-of the-mill generic hotel room. This place has personality and both privacy and comfort for a memorable experience that is worthy of sharing.

    Daniel2020-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • I had a great time at Ginger & Lewis's place, they where awesome with communication, location was perfect close to the BART and campervan was so cute with it's little touches. Thanks for a great stay!

Enjoy your own private room with separate entrance from the outside, small kitchen, fold out dining table, queen bed, and lots of natural light. Your private bathroom is adjoining, off a hallway with shared laundry between the studio and rest of the house.
Our newly renovated, secluded studio space has a queen sized bed with firm mattress, small fold out table and kitchen with sink, gas burners, small fridge, microwave, kettle, and french press for coffee. The room can easily accommodate two guests and is well set up to cook breakfast, lunch, or a simple dinner. The adjoining full bath includes a walk-in shower and is stocked with fresh towels and toiletries. We do have an additional charge of $30/ night for a second guest.
Our location in sunny Berkeley feels remote and tranquil even though we are very close to public transportation. We are 3 blocks away from the Ashby Bart stop which runs day and night into San Francisco, downtown Berkeley, and both the SFO and Oakland airports. There is also an AT Transit bus (#49) stop at the corner of ashby & king street. The quiet tree lined streets, lovely Victorian & Edwardian homes, and a bustling elementary school create a joyful and diverse neighborhood. There are several restaurants and cafes and the famous Berkeley Bowl grocery store within a short walk from the house.
  • This is a great place to rest your head!

    Jon2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • I had a nice stay at Mishaa's for a night. She kindly allowed me to drop off my luggage before check-in time, and showed me the place. (Thanks to that, I was able to visit friends in SF for the afternoon.) The room is comfortable, well furnished, and located close to BART. It's also walking distance from Whole Foods and Berkeley Bowl---popular grocery stores. I wold stay again!

We are a 10 min. walk to Ashby BART; average ride into SF - about 20 min. Emeryville (Amtrak Station) Oakland, U.C. Berkeley are all close by. Completely private; gated keypad entry through black bamboo & rose hedges. Envisioned primarily as a romantic bedroom, the cottage is also equipped for working travelers. Large bathroom can be opened to secluded courtyard garden. WiFi, fridge, microwave, coffee Walk to: Berkeley Bowl West market, Creekwood Restaurant, cafes, good coffee, bike rentals.
Please Note: Check-in any time after 2PM; check out by 11AM The Cottage is hidden on a tree lined street in an unassuming residential neighborhood next to our small Victorian house. It has its own gated entrance and pathway through grasses, mature trees and a hedge of wild roses. A second gate (keyless entry) allows entrance to the continuance of the pathway through an eclectic garden of fruit trees, flower and berry bushes, luxurious black bamboo, & artworks by the hosts. Guests love the eastern views from the large high windows; especially good in the mornings. The views change with the seasons; autumn leaves and burgeoning fruit from the persimmon tree, the riotous golden yellow cascade of rosa banksia, the starkly beautiful bark of the Dawn Redwood tree in winter; maybe delicate pink apple blossom petals swirling in a spring wind. Always, (it being Squirrel End and all) there are the many entertaining squirrels playing high up in the giant oak tree. While you won't need them for privacy, we have provided black-out shades for jet-lagged guests who would like to sleep in, and those who find themselves visiting during the 3 or 4 days of the year on which the very early morning sun comes blazing through. If you are lucky enough to visit on a warm day, take a refreshing shower and then a long soak in the big claw foot tub. The bathroom doors open to the totally private small outdoor patio. Actually, guests have said it is just as satisfying even on the coldest of days.
Our modest residential neighborhood, at the intersection of Berkeley, Oakland and Emeryville, is changing rapidly. Our house was built in 1900 and we arrived in 1979. There are more and new buildings going up, more new places to do everything. In the midst of the hubbub, the Cottage at Squirrel End is an oasis of calm and quiet.
  • Linda and Dan are class acts. They ensured that I felt safe and secure during a less than safe and secure time. Immaculately clean and beautiful space. I would stay there anytime I was in the Bay Area.

    Jill2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Our hosts were extremely thoughtful and kind and gracious people. The space was perfect for having a place to come back to after walking all day and sightseeing. Linda's skill with gardening and floral arrangement made the entryway a beautiful place to sit out in and made it especially nice while getting ready for a wedding. The location is close enough to walk to the Bart stations without much hassle so if you don't want to take a taxi or Uber it's a beautiful walk to the station.

    Corey2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Such a wonderful place to stay in the East bay! The check in was super easy, Dan was helpful and communicative. Perfect place for a couple of nights in Berkeley. Clean, peaceful and relaxing.

    Sabrina2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay at Dan and Linda’s cottage. This was my first trip to Berkeley and the Bay Area. The cottage Dan built was very cute and cozy (not in a tiny way, just a super cute way). As far as amenities, there was a coffee pot and electric tea kettle (with coffee and tea), refrigerator, fluffy towels, shampoo/conditioner/soap. The fresh flowers were a nice touch. I would mention that there is not a TV, so bring your iPad or computer if you want to watch movies after a long day of being tourist! Lol. We were trying to disconnect from work so we didn’t bring laptops along so we ended up streaming movies on our phone. There was WiFi so that was not an issue. There is a little market/grocer just around the corner, and a liquor store about a block away. We mostly drove everywhere because it was a bit of a walk and we were tired from the hills of San Francisco. The location was very central for all the things we wanted to do. We went up to Napa/Sonoma for one day, Muir Woods another day, and spent a couple days in the city, at Chinatown and at the piers. We also explored Berkeley and visited the Berkeley Bowl. Everything was less than an hour away. Dan and Linda are great hosts and bring a personal touch to their property. Thanks for letting us stay at your cottage.

    Michelle2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Tranquil abode in a regular neighborhood. The nature setting adds to the beautiful interior design. It is an extremely clean place, bed and linens just perfect. No stairs and easy access which was a nice plus. It was almost like being in a hotel room surrounded by nature, with birds singing in the trees. Loved the bathroom. It was just perfect before a major exam where I needed space and quiet to study, along with quick access to both uptown Berkeley Oakland.

    Erin2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great place for a quick getaway or staycation! Very tranquil and scenic!

    Amber2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Super cute and romantic Airbnb! Amazing for the value and close to many stores. The area was close by a lot of activities. Linda & Dan had such great communication. Really had a great time in their space. (:

  • Beautiful decor and location. Surrounded by fragrant plants and nature (multiple bird species, deer, butterflies, and a friendly cat or two).

    Christopher2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage exceeded all expectations. Everything from the tea and muffins, to waking up in the forest to the sound of the brook. We also saw deer and were visited by two very nice kitties. The location is very quiet and quaint. I recommend Laura & Kiran’s place to ANYONE looking to explore the Bay Area !

    Tim2020-02-23T00:00:00Z

    Sam2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Super clean, very spacious, only thing I didn't think of that's no where else is the area has a lot of bugs. Not a huge problem inside, but there is a nearby Creek close enough that you can hear flowing water.

    Joshua2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Laura & Kiran's place well exceeded my expectations! It is truly a sanctuary amongst the trees. The hot tub is truly magical. They have created a very intentional and cozy space for their guests full of thoughtful touches! I hope to return! Thanks for everything!

  • The pictures do not do any justice at all. If you're contemplating between a few places in the area, this one is by far the one to experience! You will fall asleep to the sound of the creek right outside your window and wake up to chirping birds. I don't think I heard any other sounds unless I created them. There is also an incredible view of the sunset from the porch/hot tub or from the bed through the windows. Laura was so great and easy to communicate with. Even pushed my check out time so I could enjoy a few extra hours before heading out. What a great find for a last minute road trip!

  • Laura and Kiran were fantastic hosts! If you’re looking for peace and quiet, then look no further. Cannot believe this gem is only a 25 minute train ride from SF. We will definitely try to stay here again next time we’re in town

Berkeley is a wonderful city - it's eclectic, full of culture: art, theater, music (including lots of street music), a great place to rent a bike and explore our huge regional park or the coastline along San Francisco Bay. There's hiking nearby, jogging trails as well. We love our coffee, fresh bread, cheeses, artisanal beer and farmers markets. Downtown San Francisco is about forty minutes away via our rapid transit system, BART. Our home is located in a quiet, tree-lined residential neighborhood near the UC Berkeley Campus. We walk everywhere - downtown, to different shopping districts. We also have plenty of street parking.
  • Susan’s space is nicely located in North Berkeley. Susan was very easy to communicate with, and this was a great value (especially given the location).

  • Susan was very welcoming and great at communicating prior to and during the stay. My mom and her friend really liked her place and her amazing hospitality! They spent a great week visiting San Francisco and surroundings. Highly reccomended!

  • Well located space, creatively burrowed into a house with interesting, tasteful decorations, a comfortable bed and all the amenities one could wish for. We enjoyed our stay and our hosts are clearly people who are willing to go the extra mile for their guests.

  • Super easy check-in and a great location.

    Nicolas2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Susan was an excellent and caring host. The space was clean and well appointed. The personal touches made you feel welcome right from the start. The coffee, tea, wine and beer in the mini fridge and bowls of fruit and candy were much appreciated. Susan is on site for any help you may need while in Berkeley, but out of sight if you are familiar. The space is walkable to the Gourmet Ghetto and it’s fine restaurants. It is also walkable to Solano Avenue shops and markets. The space was warmly decorated and it had everything you will need to enjoy your time in Berkeley. Thank you for a great stay.

A small brown shingled creekside cottage is located in a sunny rear garden with lots of birds and a little dog. A bathroom extension was just added to the cottage. The cottage is located within walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops. 15 minute walk to North Berkeley BART.
My home and cottage stand on the last remaining parcels of Christiana tract, a former Berkeley farm which is along Cordornices Creek.. It is a place of restful beauty with a large cottonwood tree adjacent to the cottage and two great redwoods across the creek. For solitude, peace and quiet, and a bit of wilderness in a busy world, it is perfect. It is also only 13 houses from coffee shops, fine dining, Berkeley Natural Foods and transportation.
I love the variety of my neighborhood and also being able to walk to everything. It's an active multicultural neighborhood with bustling businesses and a variety of ages,. At the corner one can buy coffee, bagels, out-standing sweets, and even organic groceries. There is a beautiful nursery that is a treat to visit.. Curtis and Gilman is the crossroads of the Ohlone trail which is the name of the BART path and is filled daily with bicyclists, commuters, walkers, strollers, people exercising and dog walkers. There are several neighborhood restaurants - La Limes is a high- end excellent restaurant. There is a delicious Sushi Place.. Coming in late March is the Westbrae Bier Garden with the Brazilian Food Truck. They will serve beer and wine Tri tip. Also various food trucks will be there weekly.. The Berkeley Natural Grocery is across from La Limes. If my guests want to visit Berkeley, and the University, it is 20 minutes away. This is the perfect location. San Francisco is also very close, about 40 minutes by Bart. Once in San Francisco, One can explore the city neighborhoods or visit the Museums using public transportation. Po

Stylish, light, modern studio with all you need for a basic overnight or a leisurely stay. You can cook with the Breville oven, burners or microwave, but really, why, when there is so much good food in nearby Temescal. For me, the studio calls out to read in the comfy chair, work at the West Elm breakfast bar or curl up for a good night's sleep. If none of those appeal, just sip some wine and stare at the art! EZ street parking. Hosting 4 guests is an experiment. Pls read 'The Space' if ur>2.
BECAUSE OF COVID-19, I ASK THAT YOU CONTACT ME BY PHONE AS SOON AS YOU BOOK TO DISCUSS PROCEDURES. THANK YOU. Note - If you are considering booking the place for more than two people, pls read the last paragraph in this section. PARKING - Easy street parking can fill up late at night, so if you plan to arrive late, please let me know and I'll make room for you in the driveway. OUTDOOR SPACE - Right now, the area directly outside the studio has a table and chairs for hanging out. It also has a bit of an overflow from my woodshop/work area, though there is no noisy work going on. When the weather is nice, you are welcome to hang out at the table and chairs, but please keep in mind that I haven't "set up" this area for guests yet, so you'll be dealing with a less pretty space than the interior of the studio. Think of it as aesthetically "at your own risk," caveat visitor, etc. But, you can enjoy the sun from there. LOVING CANINE GREETER - I have a medium-sized dog. I promise that you won't ever find a warmer, more loving, gentle soul. Pure bred Oakland Street Dog. She is rarely in the studio, but there's a good chance she may be part of your greeting party as you come and go. She will be happy to see you and to be pet and well-received. She also understands "no" and is definitely better behaved than I was at her age. BOOKING FOR MORE THAN TWO - The space is luxurious for two and really super tight for four. I'm offering it to four people as an experiment. I've got a comfortable cot with an inflatable mattress. With two beds in there, there will be very little floor space to walk around. It would be a great, cheap spot to crash, but not to hang. If you are booking for more than two, please check in with me so we can be clear on your expectations. I want you to be happy and to be clear on what your experience will be.
Located a few blocks from the Berkeley border, three blocks from Children's Hospital and six blocks from Oakland's buzzing, hip Temescal District. There's a great cafe a block away for your morning cappuccino. After that, just walk or drive six blocks to Temescal district where you have your choice of Burmese, Korean, Thai fusion, Japanese, Caribbean, Italian, Fried chicken and more ... and more food and shopping. Hang outdoors at Temescal Brewery. Walking or driving north from my place, you will find Sweet Adeline, one of Berkeley's sweetest cafes, fresh baked goods, yum, etc. Also, there is an amazing Farmer's Market Tuesday afternoon/evenings. Half a mile after that is Ashby BART and a little further is Berkeley Bowl, Berkeley's famous grocery store for everything you need. Whole Foods is about the same distance, up Ashby St from BART.
  • we had a great two nights in the studio. It offers enough space and also the bathroom and the kitchenette offer enough space. The bed can be heated which is very pleasant. There is also a parking lot on the street. We can say with a clear conscience that this is a great place to stay

  • Leslie's place was cute, cozy, and convenient. It closes to the freeway and the BART (subway system) so it is really assessable. I felt comfortable once I walked in. Our newly remodeled 200 sq ft tiny house is a perfect Berkeley retreat. It is walking distance to BART into San Fran. We have 2 queen size beds including one in a relaxing loft space
The tiny house is a separate small space, 200 total square feet, located in the back of the main residence. Detached cottage set in backyard with fruit trees and vegetable garden. Queen mattress and queen sofa bed. OUTDOOR-ONLY shower and sink and a modern "outhouse" with flushing toilet. Blocks away from famed Shattuck Avenue, a mecca for foodies. Fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker. This is a rustic space for adventurous guests who don't mind quirks.
A comfortable fusion of modern and rustic, this one-room detached cottage is set in a backyard with beautiful fruit trees and a vegetable garden. Super comfortable queen-sized bed. Two skylights fill the space with lights. The outdoor shower and sink are fully functional, as well as the modern "outhouse" with flushing toilet. If you do not like the idea of an outdoor bathroom, this place is not for you--there is no indoor bathroom! We provide organic shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The cottage also has a coffee maker, coffee grinder, electric kettle, mini-fridge, ironing board, iron, and hairdryer. There is usually plenty of free street parking. There is no central heat or air, just a fan and space heaters. There are no screens on the windows, though mosquitoes are not a problem in this area. You may see cobwebs! Again, this space is rustic. This neighborhood is residential, very convenient, and walkable. Definitely walk up to Shattuck Avenue to experience the food mecca! We're blocks away from famed "Gourmet Ghetto," a top destination for foodies. Many guests stay with us when dining at Chez Panisse, Berkeley's most famous restaurant. It is a 20-30 minute walk to UC Berkeley's campus. This is a friendly, quiet neighborhood close to amazing markets and restaurants. The North Berkeley BART station is a 15 minute walk or 3 minute Lyft ride away. What you get - 1 queen bed - Private outdoor-only bathroom (shower, sink, toilet) in shared backyard -Organic shampoo, conditioner, body wash - Coffee maker, microwave, electric kettle, & mini-fridge - Ironing board and iron - Blowdryer - Space heaters and fan - Wifi Note: The backyard is shared, and we have two young children, so no smoking outdoors (never smoking indoors) and no loud music after 8pm, please. It is never a problem to arrive LATER than the 3pm check in time, even late into the night. If you plan on arriving EARLIER than 3pm or need to check out later than 10am, check with us. We are friendly, easy-to-talk-to people with lots of suggestions for what to see, do, eat.
Excellent location close to food and shopping.
  • Exceptionally pleasant stay. The warmest of welcomes and very clear and fast on communication. The little cottage is immaculate, comfortable, stylish and equipped with everything you need. I got a bunch of work done in it when I wasn't sight-seeing. The facilities were nice. It was a step up from other local glamping offers. Leila is responsive.

Beautiful backyard cottage with modern interior and green roof. A posh tiny house experience! Comfortable, lofted double bed, with new, larger sofa and TV underneath. The kitchenette has a microwave, toaster, coffee machine, electric kettle and mini fridge. There is no stove. Restaurants and coffee shops in easy walking distance. About 1 mile from campus and main downtown area. Bart is also about a mile away, so it's a quick hop to San Francisco. zoning permit: ZCSTR2018-0135
The cottage is modern, clean, and also on the small side. While it could sleep three people, it's probably better suited for 1-2. Please note there is an extra person fee of $25 per night for a third guest, as well as a two night minimum for three guests. There is a one-time extra $30 charge for two guests sleeping separately due to the higher volume of laundry. The bed is lofted, only accessible by stairs.
Some nearby places to eat The Homemade Café is a popular breakfast spot (two blocks away on the corner of Dwight and Sacramento). Mo’Joe Café has great coffee and serves breakfast and lunch (one block away on Sacramento and Blake). Caffe Chiave is also a great coffee shop, about a 12 minute walk (at the corner of Dwight and San Pablo). I’ve really enjoyed the food and atmosphere at Longbranch Saloon (on the same block as Caffe Chiave). Closed Mondays Le Pho is a Vietnamese restaurant directly across the street from Caffe Chiave, and has come highly recommended by guests. Standard Fare is wonderful for casual, yet delectable breakfast and lunch. It’s owned by a former Chez Panisse chef (located on the corner of 8th and Carleton). La Marcha is a wonderful tapas bar on San Pablo, near University. La Capilla has great tacos and burritos. It’s on University close to San Pablo St. Eureka! has also come highly recommended from a guest and it’s in downtown Berkeley. Creekwood is a new restaurant serving Cal-Italian fare. The food is fresh and delicious. It’s located at 3121 Sacramento St, by 67th and is closed Mondays. Teni East Kitchen is my new favorite restaurant! The chef owner worked at Burma Superstar for several years and just opened her own place. It’s located at 4015 Broadway in Oakland and is open daily for lunch and dinner. Kirala and Kirala 2 are my favorite places for sushi in Berkeley. Kirala 2 is located in the Epicurious Garden in the “Gourmet Ghetto” on Shattuck in North Berkeley and is more of a take-out place, while Kirala is a restaurant on Ward and Shattuck in South Berkeley. Berkeley Bowl West is a great grocery store (on Heinz, near 9th Street, a 4 min. drive). Cheeseboard Pizza and Chez Panisse are two well known Berkeley eateries, both located on Shattuck. Expect long lines for the famous pizza! I love Summer Kitchen for excellent wood fired pizzas and little to no wait. It’s located on College Avenue, off of Ashby.
  • Nina’s space is beautiful! The home was comfortable and provided the escape we needed.

  • My stay at Nina's backyard bungalow was excellent. The space was beautifully and thoughtfully laid out. My stay was restful and close to downtown Berkeley. This spot had everything I needed. Nina also added the sweet touches of fresh flowers and a stocked cabinet with snacks and toiletries. There were so many touches that made this stay enjoyable.

Architect designed garden cottage located in central Berkeley near the University, the entertainment district, famous 4th St. shopping district, the "gourmet ghetto" and Bart. Clean, beautiful, private, quiet, private entry and parking.
The space is a beautiful light filled large L-shaped room located within a private garden. The garden can be seen from the bed, but the garden viewing window is completely private...no one sees in. To be private in the bath area, We've recently added a room divider. It's optional and easy to place wherever you want to create an additional private space. . If you choose to use this, no one can see you in the bathing area. The W.C. has a door that closes and has good ventilation. We've recently added shades that completely block out the outside, but when not pulled down allow the room to be filled with light and a view of the garden. There's no kitchen, but simple food can be prepared. There's a fridge, dishes, a microwave and you can prepare coffee and tea. The bed has been recently changed to a queen sized bed.
The neighborhood is Central / West Berkeley. There are restaurants within walking distance. The University is a couple miles away. The entertainment district is about a mile as is the famous shopping district, 4th Street. The Marina is a beautiful place for walks as is Tilden Park. As is true with all of California, having a car makes things much easier, but isn't completely necessary. We're about 15 minutes from the happening "Uptown" part of Oakland and 30-45 minutes from SF depending on traffic. Bart is about a 15 minute walk.
  • What a wonderfully charming and comfortable cottage! Photos do not do this place justice. Hands down, the sweetest spot to stay in the Bay Area. Polly is a fabulous host and we can't wait to return! xx

A private in-law studio with own entrance close to everything: Ashby Bart (0.6 miles), Bay Bridge on-ramp, Emeryville, Rockridge, Berkeley, Telegraph Ave, and UC Berkeley. It's a cozy, clean, and minimalist space with a queen bed, new modern bathroom, and kitchenette (fridge, kitchen sink, kettle, microwave, and counter space). The kitchenette is stocked with flatware, plates, mugs, glasses, bowls, coffee cone and filters, and dish soap. Plenty of parking on street directly outside of in-law.
  • If you’re looking for a great stay when traveling to the Bay Area, Nicks place is a great location! There are many great local restaurants in the area and about a 30 minute drive to San Francisco.

  • This place was in a great location near BART, had easy access to Berkeley and Oakland. The space was nice and clean. Perfect for not needing to be in the room for long periods of time. The bathroom was very upscale and nice. A little cold in the evening and the small heater wasn’t working, but all in all a nice place.

Our newly built private cottage has its own bathroom, reading nook with comfy chair, new 27" Apple monitor for streaming videos, microwave, small fridge, and full-size bed. A REAL bed.
This sweet space is cozy but filled with southern light. You'll have access to a big yard with real grass (drought resistant!), lemon tree, lime tree, apple tree, rosemary bushes, jasmine, and a brick patio for al fresco dining or morning coffee. In addition to the fridge and microwave, you'll find a new coffee maker, fresh coffee, tea, hot chocolate and oatmeal. We'll make sure there's milk, and most importantly, a local craft brew to welcome you!
We're right on the Berkeley/Albany border, three houses from the corner of Solano. Solano Avenue is our main street, lined with restaurants, bars, salons, shops, grocery stores, a theatre, and cafes.
  • Perfect location for the activities we planned; quiet and clean; with an excellent neighborhood that boasts unique shopping and restaurant options all within walking distance! Exceptional lodging for one or two people who enjoy warm hospitality and comfy urban stays.

    Mary2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • This was our fist time staying at an Airbnb so we didn’t exactly know what to expect. Our stay was very pleasant. The cottage is located in the back yard of a charming house on a beautiful street. We arrived late after our hosts retired for the evening. We where able to get the key to the cottage from the lockbox hanging on the yard gate using the access code they provided. The way into the yard through the fence is a bit narrow due to a garden planter. This was no problem for us, but might be difficult to navigate with larger luggage. The cottage was spacious, charming and immaculately clean. We always found parking right in front of the house on all three days of our stay. We met our lovely host family as we left every morning at the same time they took there children to school. The house is walking distance from the charming shopping and restaurant village along Solano Ave. I would suggest eating at Zachary's Pizza, which is my favorite pizza parlor in the world. UC Berkeley is only a 15 minutes drive. I would definitely consider staying here again.

  • Stephen and Marin's place was really lovely for what I needed. I was in town for a week-long residency and was in meetings from 9 am to 9 pm daily. It was perfectly quiet, clean, plenty of parking, plenty of hot water for showers, and close to everything. Note that the entrance is a little tight if you have large bags as I did, but you can make do. Thank you again!

Great southwest exposure with 3 bridge views, SF Bay, in a very safe and charming neighborhood in wonderful North Berkeley. Easy walk to Gourmet Ghetto, about 20 min walk to UC campus. Shared bath. Room has a couch and desk as well as bed. WiFi.
Big old Berkeley brown shingle cluttered, messy house, with 2 friendly cats. Room feels like grandma's sewing room, but without the grandma (yet) or any actual sewing getting done. Very casual environment. No smoking, of course, and respect for quiet hours a given. You have a shared bath, and can use second bathroom. if that one's occupied. It's myself and my long-term housemate/tenant; we both work at UC Berkeley. My college-age son is home summers and vacations as well. I've lived in the area all my life, so I'm a good resource for questions about restaurants, arts, things to do, etc. North Berkeley is a wonderful, leafy, safe neighborhood, and the food choices around town are beyond amazing, some of the best anywhere! I may be able to help with ride to/from BART sometimes if you need it. Antique double-bed with firm modern mattress, sofa could sleep one as well. Towels, sheets furnished. We'd love to introduce you to our great town! Perfect spot for visiting the UC Berkeley campus!
North Berkeley is home to the world-famous Gourmet Ghetto, including the iconic start of the new food movement, Chez Panisse. The nearby CheeseBoard is considered tied for best cheese shop in America, and serves a daily vegetarian pizza, and great pastries. The original Peet's coffee is also there. Just up the hill we have the lovely Berkeley Rose Garden and Codornices Park. Campus is also close, with all it has to offer, including the option of daily use at the Rec Sports Facility. Nearby Solano Ave has even more shopping, restaurants, a great bookstore, etc. Full of trees and very eclectic architecture - my house is over 100 years old!
  • Very pleasant place, thoughtful welcoming hot chocolate, warm hosts

Lovely room opening to a serene and private (on occasion shared with owner) patio for outdoor relaxing. Completely separate backyard building with own entrance in a vibrant community. Safe place for you and your car (ample parking). Private bathroom ( with shower) and kitchen, wi-fi, free hi def TV. Queen size bed.

  • This spot is a nice, small apartment behind the owner’s house. It’s located close to a lot of shopping and dining which was nice. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the space due to being in town for wedding festivities, but it suited us well as a relaxing space in the midst of our busy schedule, offering a cozy place to sleep, get ready, rest, and even some cooking in the kitchen. Stephen was very hospitable, as well, and communicated well with us.

Conveniently located in Central Berkeley, you’ll be able to enjoy your trip while right in the midst of Berkeley’s vibrant culture. This prime location is an ideal spot to stay for Cal games, Greek Theatre shows, and visiting the university.
  • Secluded cottage by James allows for a private and quiet stay right in the heart of Berkeley. We were lucky enough to have the parking work out for our 2 cars during the Martin Luther Day long weekend right on the property thus avoiding the 2 hour street limit drama. We as a couple also enjoyed the noise-free privacy afforded by the distance of the apartment from the street. Jim has thoughtfully provided all the necessary things you would want in a space. Ample heating for the bedroom, an extra space heater for living areas, a nice spacious kitchen, and perfectly smooth sheets to sleep in, which would immediately make you feel at home. Give the cottage a try, and you won't regret it!

  • Very glad we picked this place to stay in while we spent my birthday here in Berkeley. Such a unique and charming little cottage! We instantly felt sooo cozy once we checked in and seeing the rain fall on the skylights was an added bonus. The small touches like the heated mattress and the umbrella - which we were so thankful he provided because it was pouring and we were exploring downtown on foot - made our stay even better! We are thinking about booking again in the future!

Enjoy this lovely large apartment in Southside Berkeley that's just a 10 minute walk to UC Berkeley, the Bart train, College Avenue and Downtown restaurants. The apartment has a private bathroom and private entrance and is located in an idyllic and safe location. You'll love the charming atmosphere, large rooms, and sunlight.

There are hardwood floors throughout, a comfortable queen-sized bed in the bedroom, large living room with couch that turns into a bed, a dining room area, full kitchen, and wifi and cable. This is a great place to use as your base camp for your Bay Area adventures.
This is a big apartment in one of the best neighborhoods in the Bay Area. UC Berkeley Campus, which is a giant park full of Redwoods and streams is a 5 minute walk. 100s of Restaurants and shops are within a 10-15 minute walk on Shattuck/College/Telegraph Avenues, the Farmer's Market is on Saturdays. Also very close to the Cal Bear football stadium.

  • This place is great if you need to crash somewhere while staying in Berkeley. I had no issues at all.

    Josh2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • The place was spacious, but a bit sparse. It served most of our needs very well but, was not great for just hanging out. Location is great for walking to downtown Berkeley. Dylan was great about getting back to us when we had questions. One downside is being in the middle of several frats and sororities. It got really loud a few times at night.

  • It was really nice staying at Dylan’s place. It was very clean, had all the essentials you need, and there’s plenty of places to go around the area. It is a bit noisy but that’s to be expected being so close to UC Berkeley and luckily for I’m a really deep sleeper so nothing bothered me. I totally recommend if you want to visit the Bay Area.

Comfy, converted garage studio in the ❤️ of Oakland’s sought after Rockridge neighborhood! Private entrance, claw foot bathtub and shower, microwave, mini fridge and other thoughtful amenities. Eat, drink and enjoy all that Rockridge & Temescal offer. Close to UC Berkeley; bus lines: 15 mi. drive to SF; 7 min walk to BART; microbreweries, yoga/exercise studios, restaurants, bars, cafes, bookstores and boutiques. Perfect for quiet tourists, business travelers & students exploring the Bay.
    Cozy, nicely appointed.
Great food, bars, restaurants boutiques and work out options.
  • Good value and location, walkable to Rockridge BART and restaurants and shops. Appreciate the coffee left by Kymi.

    Adriana2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Kymi's space is clean and well located. Only a 12 min walk to the Rockridge BART and close to College Ave, which has some great restaurants. Kymi was a great host and very quick to reply to any questions or concerns. The bathroom is a small but over all practical. Its great for one or two people. Highly recommended.

  • This place is a great find! The location was awesome and safe, the space was very clean and as-described, and I enjoyed the stay. Keep in mind that this is a converted garage, so cosmetically there are still some garage-like touches, but nothing that would keep me from staying here again.

Fresh and cozy studio space, in safe and walkable neighborhood. The studio is a detached backyard space with private entrance from the driveway with guest parking.
The studio is a 150 square foot space with a comfy queen-sized bed, tiny kitchenette (mini-fridge, microwave, electric kettle, Keurig coffee maker, and toaster), and bathroom with a shower. The studio includes a small dresser with a few drawers, and has a hair dryer and iron with an ironing mat. There is Wi-Fi and television with Netflix. There is a small patio with an outdoor dining table and seating.
We are located in the Thousand Oaks neighborhood of Albany, on the border with Berkeley, Kensington, and El Cerrito. We are a 5 to 10 minute walk to some great restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and shops at Colusa Circle and along Solano Avenue. On Sunday mornings, you can walk a couple of blocks to our Farmer’s Market for locally prepared foods and treats, fresh produce, and live music. Albany Aquatic Center is located about a block away, and has indoor and outdoor pools for lap swimming and recreational swimming. We are also a few blocks from the Ohlone Greenway, a popular paved trail for walking, running, and biking that runs from Berkeley to Richmond. Tilden Regional Park, a favorite place of ours to hike and enjoy nature, is located about a 10-minute drive up the hill.
  • My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay! The space is small (although it was perfect for our needs) and very clean and thoughtfully put together. Jeni and Skye were helpful, communicative hosts and we would be happy to stay here again on another trip to the Bay Area.

  • Stylish space with nice amenities in a great neighbourhood

    Chris2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great one-week stay at Jeni and Skye's place. It's just as described, in a great location, quiet neighborhood, easy access with a place to park a car (huge!), very clean and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The hosts were very quick to respond when we needed something or had a question. This place is a fantastic value for the area and we will come back!

The perfect studio is located on a quiet tree-lined street. It is conveniently located directly across the street from the tranquil San Pablo Park. The private studio has its own entrance. There is a full kitchen with all the amenities. Private bathroom with full tub and shower. There is a private deck adjacent to the studio. Television and WIFI access. Free off street parking
  • Great value, clean place, with a small kitchen. Hot water can take a while, and doesn't quite get super 'hot' for the shower but otherwise works well. Would stay again!

    Brendan2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Our place was in the back of D’s other Airbnb home. No parking in the drive way. D was really understanding and easy to contact.

    Deanna2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • What a nice way to come back to after exploring Berkeley

    Tyler2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • First off the host was great. Fast responses and friendly. This place was awesome! The location is nice and quiet. It is located close to many great places to eat, hang out and just lounge around. Finding parking was very easy. The BART was a 5 minute drive away and able to get into San Francisco with ease. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a nice, relaxing getaway.

    Stephen2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • D’s place is in a great location - minutes walk to the nearest BART and only 15-20 minutes to San Francisco. The neighborhood was old, but very quiet with friendly neighbors. The unit included great amenities like a small kitchenette and smart TV with streaming services and available WiFi. The unit being older was very cold but D provided heaters which corrected that issue. If you’re looking for cute, economical, affordable, and cozy place to stay for a night or two while you visit Berkeley or SF, this is the place for you.

Small cottage in the heart of the Elmwood neighborhood. Walk score: 91. Tree-lined streets, great food, Berkeley-vibes abound. Eat-in kitchenette, sunny porch, cozy living space.
Well-loved, cozy space. The house was built in 1906 and much of the period detail has survived over the years.
The neighborhood is friendly, safe, and pretty; a long growing season makes for lovely gardens. Happily, you'll be able to walk to the post office, library, cafes, bakeries, and a wonderful grocery store.
  • This is a terrific place to stay. Quiet. Lovely street near good food, coffee, theatres and close enough to the BART.

I love my home - a 1925 Craftsman with hardwood floors, French doors, my grandparents mid-cent furniture, lots of light and an open layout that welcomes relaxed hanging out or friends just crashing for a night. Unbeatable location - UC Berkeley, Fox, Greek, Paramount, Oracle are 10- 15 mins Rockridge & Temescal eats & shops Bart or drive to SF 20 mins Contact me for a Price-Match, if you are 4+ people or to discuss a pet. Easy Parking Free calls - 70 countries' landlines. No parties pls!!!
BECAUSE OF COVID-19, I ASK THAT YOU CONTACT ME BY PHONE AS SOON AS YOU BOOK TO DISCUSS PROCEDURES. THANK YOU. Hi! Thank you for considering my home. I so enjoy providing a great space for friends, family and co-workers. I've met people doing fabulously interesting things and coming together for beautiful occasions. While almost all of my Airbnb experiences have been wonderful, a few have jeopardized my ability to continue to share. Out of respect for my friends/neighbors and the community we have together, I ask you please not to choose my home if you intend to have a party. Thanks so much for your understanding. Okay, now on to the good stuff! I love sharing the home I have created amidst my art (collected locally and while traveling) and the furnishings that my grandparents acquired from furniture-maker friends in mid-century Montreal. I grew up in the French Canadian city eating poutine before it was cool and skiing in the Laurentians while they were still cold. I love being surrounded by wood - the hardwood floors, the polished grain of teak furniture and the tall abstract sculpture of a woman and a child (I think :)) crafted by my beloved friend Ethel in 1950s San Francisco. The wood grain glows shades of brown with the morning sun and in the afternoon, the light leaves the apartment feeling calm - the perfect time for a cup of tea or glass of wine, both of which I have left for you. I'm convinced it is the connection with nature that allows both me and my guests to relax as soon as we enter the apartment. Truly. I love welcoming people in and sharing the moment their expression softens as they see where they will be staying. The space is large and airy. It is an Edwardian with French doors separating the living room (into which the front door opens) and the second bedroom (which is in the middle of the apartment). This makes for lots of flexible sleeping arrangements by night and wonderful open sharing place when you want to hang out during the day and evening. I love my neighbors and we keep the building and backyard very quiet. Please only choose my place, if you enjoy serenity. (It's not monk-like. Just no loud music.) The back bedroom is down a hallway at the back of the apartment. There are doors on both ends of the hallways, so it is very private. This bedroom has a queen SleepNumber bed, so two sleepers can each adjust the bed to their soft v. firm level of comfort. I just got a heated mattress pad for this bed!! The bathroom is next to this back bedroom. The back bedroom looks out on a large yard with picnic tables, some trees, a bed for vegetable garden, but not always a vegetable garden and some random Buddhas. It is a shared space that you are welcome to use from 10am-10pm. Please keep in mind it is shared and that noise travels. It's not appropriate for parties. The second bedroom - the one in which I prefer to sleep when I am not Airbnbing has a comfy daybed with a new Sealy mattress and a heated mattress pad! As mentioned above, it is in the front of the apartment between the kitchen and the living room. One of the nice things is that it is separated by a hall, a door and a kitchen from the back bedroom, so there is a lot of privacy between the main sleeping spaces. The room has ample floor space for a queen-size top-of-the-line Aerobed, if you have a big group. I think this second room was technically the dining room back in Edwardian days. There is a dining room table in this room so it works very well for a dining area if you want to use it that way. (I eat in the small, newly renovated kitchen.) The table has leaves and can seat at least eight. Recently, eight people opened the leaves and played Magic: The Gathering all night for a bachelor party night. That's the most creative use of my dining room table that I know of. The living room has new, comfy sofa sleeper - a double. Two more couches provide hang out space during the day and sofas to crash on at night. There is also a coffee table that my grandparents had made. It's my favorite thing, so please please use coasters! (I made a lot of the coasters from my own travel photos.) My neighbors are awesome and, in a pinch, my upstairs neighbor is there to help. I appreciate your keeping my neighbors in mind. Sound travels easily up into the other apartments. No loud music please. (Guests have had a parties at my place, even though my listing prohibits it, so now I mention it here, as well.) Brand-new kitchen. Easy street parking. Laundry room. Shared Backyard. Free Phone Calls to Landlines in the Following Countries: *Global Calling free with typical use **Unlimited calls to mobile as well as landline numbers Andorra Argentina Australia Austria Bahrain Belgium Brazil Brunei Bulgaria Canada** Chile Colombia Croatia Cyprus Czech Republic Denmark Estonia Finland France Georgia Germany Greece Guadeloupe Guam** Hong Kong Hungary Iceland India Iraq Ireland Israel Italy Japan Latvia Luxembourg Malaysia Malta Republic Mexico Netherlands New Zealand Norway Panama People's Republic Of China Peru Poland Portugal Puerto Rico** Republic Of China Taiwan Republic Of South Africa Republic Of South Korea Romania Russian Federation San Marino Singapore, Republic Of Slovak Republic Slovenia Spain Sweden Switzerland Thailand Turkey Turkey, Ankara Fixed United Kingdom United States Virgin Islands** PETS - Please contact me if you have a pet you would like to bring. Emergency - It is fairly accepted in this area that there will be another earthquake. While it is likely it will happen, it is unlikely you will be here. Just in case, I have prepared a basic emergency kit and water and am developing information and instructions on what to do in the 'event of such an event' (I had to say that. Gertrude Stein is from Oakland and btw... there's lots and lots of here here.) I want you to be as safe, happy and comfortable in my home, no matter what the circumstances. In general, a 1920s wooden building like mine should fair well in an earthquake. I was in a similar building during the 1986 quake and it just kind of felt like the Poseidon Adventure for a two minutes. I lost a few potted plants and that was it. It's really about making sure you have water and food, which I've done. You might want to spend just a few minutes on FEMA's website looking at the basic todos and not todos in an earthquake.
My apartment is in Rockridge just off Telegraph between Temescal and UC Berkeley - a mile to each. Rockridge is a fashionable, trendy neighborhood/village with wonderful restaurants, cafes - Philz set off the pour-over revolution, Coles to hang with the locals and La Farine for yummy pastry and bread - grocery stores (Safeway, Trader Joe's and independent meat market and fruit sellers) and shops (wine tasting, specialty liquor, candy) only a few blocks away. Sweet, quiet neighborhood. Mostly single family homes. Lots of trees. Temescal is a mile from my place on Telegraph between 52nd to 40th Streets. (I'm right between Temescal and UC, just off Telegraph). It is trendier, hipper, edgier (you got it) than Rockridge. I recommend Cholita Linda for extraordinary tacos and salads Caribbean style. You will also find good Korean, Thai fusion, outdoor Beer garden, Burmese...and all other kinds of lusciousness brought to the Bay by immigrants like me (but from more colorful culinary traditions - poutine being all shades of beige and brown.) Very pleasant 10 min walk to Rockridge commercial district. Less than a mile to Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Safeway, independent fruit, meat and fish markets. A mile to Berkeley campus.

Tiny home, big yard. Enjoy an oasis in the midst of the oakland culture and emeryville bustle in this cozy home and yard.
Enjoy this tiny home in-law in the backyard of my home. You’ll enjoy your own studio, complete with your own bathroom and kitchen with sink and mini fridge. Feel free to enjoy the backyard as well! The home includes a queen bed and a pull-out twin sofa bed.
The home is situated in the midst of Oakland, Berkeley and emeryville. Walk to numerous local restaurants, from Noodle Theory to Ike’s Sandwiches. Across the street from the local community center with a pool and gym
  • Easy check in and very clean. Lee was very gracious and checked in to make sure I was doing ok and if I needed anything. So peaceful, beautiful back yard and the bed will ensure you get good sleep!

    Becky2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Lee’s space was clean, full of light, and just the right size. Check in was easy with digital locks. Bathroom sink really is meant for hand-washing only – a tad difficult to wash up with, since it’s so small, but the kitchen sink is only steps away. A nice walk from restaurants and diners. I’d stay here again.

    Gene2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great small space with everything you could need!

    Kelsey2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Lee’s tiny home was such a lovely experience. Her property is such an oasis with a succulent garden and feels so lush. We were only there for one night for a concert so didn’t see much of the neighbourhood. The space was great, very comfortable and great amenities, I can’t think of anything that was missing. Thank you so much!

    Jocelyn2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • So comfortable and quaint. I cooked and relaxed and enjoyed my stay. This tiny home feels big and the Bed is the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The patio is gorgeous.

    Danny2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Lee’s tiny home exceeded all my expectations! I knew this spot was going to be a more affordable alternative to staying in the actual city but wow!! Every little touch and detail was so thought out and just great to have! If you think the pictures are cute just wait until you actually see it in person! Lee is so kind and has great little touches around the tiny home whether it be a yummy cup of tea for the night time, toiletries you overlooked, and even a little cooking nook. I could not recommend this place enough! If you’re staying planning on visiting San Francisco but not wanting to be right in the city or looking for somewhere more affordable this is the spot for you! A few minutes on the BART and you’re right there! Thank you so much again Lee!

    Alexia2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This was my favorite Air BnB experience ever! Lee’s place is cute, smart, clean and well located! It’s exactly as the photos and description say, and even cuter. The nice touches like coffee and oatmeal were appreciated:) The outdoor spaces are also lovely and a nice way to start the morning . I would highly recommend Lee’s Air BnB and the location to the BART and bridge to SF make it a good choice if you are visiting the Bay Area. Stay here, you will really love it! I will certainly be back next time I’m in the Bay Area.

    Caroline2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
