Our 2-person Canadian canoe and our 3 bicycles are available for rent at a reasonable price.

The cottage is located at the back of our property and is surrounded by a natural garden. It has wide views and offers a lot of privacy. The tiny house is decorated with love and in detail. It is completely made of wood and has a surface area of 30m². The cottage is fully equipped, everything you need is available. Enjoy the scenery and the skies, the tranquility and the space!

Het huis is direct gelegen naast de Middeleeuwse kerk op de grootste wierde van Nederland. Veel mooie authentieke dorpen in de omgeving , de oneindige polders en de vogel(spot)rijke kwelders van de Waddenzee zijn op fietsafstand te bewonderen. Ook een bezoek aan de stad Groningen en eilanden Schiermonnikoog en Borkum is de moeite waard!

The accommodation, with its own entrance, has been recently renovated and is completely furnished for a comfortable stay. During the summer, the rooms are wonderfully cool and cozily warm during the winter. The accommodation is within walking distance (5 min.) from the station (train + bus). By car, the accommodation is easily accessible, a short distance from Juliana Square, where the A7 and A28 intersect. Free parking on own property.

Sleeping on the mudflats

Go offline on the edge of the mudflats in a simple but modern mudflat house. Here, the nights are still really dark, and at times even the Northern Lights can be seen! Noordpolderzijl is the ideal base for your mudflat walk or vacation on the mudflat coast. Please note that you are staying in a nature reserve on the Wadden Sea. Dogs should be kept on a leash, and there is no large beach as you might be used to from the North Sea coast.

However, a few fake beaches and the ferry service to Borkum for the real thing. Wake up to cackling chickens under your window. Wood-burning stove, with support of an electric heater. Preferably no employees unless..... Dogs welcome for a small fee.
