Walden is located in the middle of the unique coulissen landscape of the Frisian woods. Trees, hedges and wooded borders surround the meadows. With grasslands, water, and patches of forest in between. It looks cozy, those grasslands among the trees. Smûk, we say in Frisian. As many as 250 species of birds and many other animals live here. The area also received pingos as a gift from the Ice Age. Located in the middle of 2 national parks: Lauwersmeer and the Alde Feannen. Ideal cycling and hiking area.

Guesthouse De Wetterwille

Home base for (business) overnight stays in Drachten. Gastenverblijf De Wetterwille is located in the greenest residential area of Drachten. The former garage has now been converted into a guest house with all the amenities of a modern studio. The small but cozy living room is furnished with a full kitchen, a small dining area and two armchairs. On the upper floor with a loft, there is a double box spring. You have a private entrance and free parking. The shopping center is within walking distance.

Villa Rose (on the waterfront)

Stay in one of the most beautiful villas in Friesland. The entire upper floor is at your disposal. Includes bathroom with bath (no bubbles), a living room with luxury sofa and television with Netflix, Videoland and a mini kitchen with microwave, fridge and dishwasher. The accommodation is sustainable (hardly any gas use) and equipped with air conditioning in the living room + bedrooms. In the winter months, it can be heated. As can be seen in the photos, there is a shed behind the house. This will not bother you, there is little to no movement and certainly not at night.

From the carriage and from the terrace, you can look out over the meadows and enjoy the peace and space around you. The Pipo wagon is a cozy and comfortable place for two people. You have everything at hand for a relaxing stay: a comfortable bed, a private bathroom, a kitchen and, of course, a nice place to sit outside. From here, you can take beautiful cycling and hiking trips.

PUUR Eastermar - Authentic and luxurious coach house.

Koetshuis Puur Eastermar is an exclusive apartment in the former coach house of our monumental farmhouse from 1860. The farm is located on De Lits between Burgumermeer and De Leyen. With its own jetty, this location is an excellent base for water sports or just to enjoy the breathtaking views. The area is also very suitable for hiking and biking in the typical coulisse landscape. The coach house is very spacious (75m2) and equipped with every comfort.

Looking for a nice place to relax and unwind? This cottage is located on a pond overlooking meadows. The cottage has its own entrance, coffee and Senseo , kitchen, and terrace. The cottage has a wood-fired sauna with color therapy and a wood-burning stove. The bedroom is located upstairs. This is 1 large space with two single beds and one double bed. The cottage overlooks a pond and pastures where horses, goats, chickens and ducks stay.
