Whether you want to relax inside the bedroom and listen to our record collection or chill out in the large outdoor tub surrounded by our lush landscaping we will make sure you have everything you need. If you want to wander to Round Top, Lockhart (Best BBQ in TX) Smithville (aka Hope Floats movie) COTA Race track, or a trip into Austin.

Welcome to our peaceful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom retreat conveniently located near Austin, Bastrop, and Smithville. The spacious house is fully equipped and features two living spaces, stunning forest views from the east-facing windows, and a tranquil fenced deck. The ten-acre property offers access to hiking trails, hammocks, a fire pit, and a BBQ for our guests to enjoy. The house is designed to welcome families, is wheelchair accessible, and well-behaved pets are also welcome with a few rules.

We have a cute guest room attached to our garage adjacent our back porch. It’s a small space but has all the essentials and is super comfy! It has a full size comfy bed, a comfy chair, dresser, desk, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and 36" flat screen TV with Amazon Firestick. The bathroom has a small shower. We include lots of little extras to make your stay enjoyable. We live in the Historic area of downtown Bastrop. Our home was built in 1916 by my husband's great grandfather.

We have a Roku TV in the living room as well in the master room configured with a Amazon and Netflix set up application, which gives you access to the network, This also allows you to log into your own streaming services such as , Hulu, HBO, Cinemax and so on.
