Originally built in 1940 as a double camping lodge with a shared bath between them, The Loft is one of those, with a home addition added on in the 1960's. When I remodeled the home I created the modern version of a one room camping lodge with a bathroom and loft sleeping area. The home is full of character and some quarks but rest assured it is absolutely comfortable, cozy and efficiently set up for your stay.

Our charming bungalow is located walking distance from downtown Muskegon and Muskegon Lake. Enjoy the quiet neighborhood setting while being close to all of the action that downtown has to offer. Breweries, restaurants, shopping, and the farmers market all await. If downtown isn’t your scene, the bungalow is a quick drive to Pere Marquette beach on the shores of Lake Michigan. Large, uncrowded stretches of sandy beach are the perfect place for a relaxing day in the sun.

The Nest

Nestled above Lakeside Cafe this studio style apartment is just minutes from downtown Muskegon, Pier Marquette, Lakeside district & a newly renovated bike trail. The Nest sleeps four; with two full size beds, a full size washer & dryer, a fully equipped kitchen & room service available during Cafe hours. The house is set up with care to ensure that you have a lovely visit to West Michigan while I’m traveling and renting it out.
