Urke in Hjørundfjorden - cabin at the edge of the sea

Urke is a small village and has everything you need; great nature, hiking and swimming opportunities, shop with post and pharmacy, horticulture and own pub/cafe. The nature in the area is amazing. The Sunnmørsalpane encircles the village with majestic Slogen and Saksa which have become really popular after Sherpas from Nepal have made steps up through the ura. In the last few years, Urkeegga has also become a popular hiking destination. The mountains here are equally popular for skiing tourists during the winter as for mountain hikes in the summer.

An open living space showcases large glass doors that offer views of the water. A modern sofa and a uniquely designed coffee table are complemented by a bright yellow armchair. A dining area with a round table and four chairs is also visible, enhancing the inviting atmosphere.

Quiet, peaceful, with stunning views of fjords and mountains, less than 10 meters from the water's edge. 70m2 plus large room at the pier level. Unique layout, large window surfaces, and multi-level rooms. One bedroom with a double bed, and a large sofa bed in the loft/TV room. Tiled bathroom by bedroom. Lower floor with double gate, view of the fjord, and with its own toilet/laundry room and fridge/freezer.

High standard villa with twelve beds. From the veranda there is a panoramic view of the emerald green Oppstrynsvatnet and the surrounding mountains, as well as a view of the glacier Breifonna which is an arm from Jostedalsbreen. The villa has a large sunny terrace with partial roof top. Fully equipped kitchen, dining table for 12 people, sofa group, WiFi, Apple TV, bathroom with shower, laundry room with extra toilet and sink. Washer and dryer as well as iron and tray. Beach and hiking areas just outside the door.

A well-lit storage area displays kayaks and surfboards suspended from the ceiling. A green kayak rests on the wooden floor next to a stack of cushions. A wooden bench overlooks a serene view of the water through open doors, enhancing the connection with nature.

In the bedroom we have one bunk bed and sofa bed in living room for two. We provide two bicycles, two kayaks and fishing sticks. Road to cabin from main road is short but steep (100m).
