Beautiful custom built riverfront home on the Maury 15 minutes from Lexinton. Huge yard for playing ball with a cute little tiki bar right by the river. Direct access to one of the prettiest stretches of river in Virginia, canoes provided! Three king beds each with its own shower. A common refrain we hear is that walking into this home “feels like you’re stepping into a magazine”. Great for families with older kids or one to three couples visiting the area or making it a destination itself!

Our cabin was originally a grainery. We moved it to sit on a wooded knoll on our working sheep farm. Mornings can be spent relaxing on our front porch while watching lambs play. We offer a firepit and outdoor furniture to better enjoy the peaceful seclusion of our slice of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Guests are just 10 minutes to downtown Lexington, Virginia Military Institute, Washington & Lee University, Southern Virginia University & the Virginia Horse Center. The owner is a VMI alumnus.

Relax in the hot tub, take a leisurely walk by the Maury River, swing on the screened-in porch, have your morning coffee while taking in the wildlife. The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.
