Upstairs in the Netherlands, near the Wadden Coast, you will find this sustainable and energy-neutral tiny house. The cottage is decorated with love and in great detail. Everything you need is available. It is completely made of wood and has a surface area of 30m². The tiny house is located at the back of our property and is surrounded by a natural garden. This gives it a wide view with lots of privacy. The tranquility and space in this cute cottage feels like a real experience, a place to dream away!

Walden is located in the middle of the unique coulissen landscape of the Frisian woods. Trees, hedges and wooded borders surround the meadows. With grasslands, water, and patches of forest in between. It looks cozy, those grasslands among the trees. Smûk, we say in Frisian. As many as 250 species of birds and many other animals live here. The area also received pingos as a gift from the Ice Age. Located in the middle of 2 national parks: Lauwersmeer and the Alde Feannen. Ideal cycling and hiking area.

For day trips, you can be in Leeuwarden, Groningen or on Schiermonnikoog or Ameland within an hour. Have you ever been to the beautiful Dokkum? It is only 12 km away. From this perfectly located home base, everything is within reach. In the old hairdressing salon of the island, you can feel like an islander for a while. In the middle of the authentic village of Schiermonnikoog, you go back in time. You have your own terrace and entrance in front of our house. We enter through the back entrance. This gives you privacy. Shops and beach are within walking distance. Beds are made upon arrival, bicycles are ready. Enjoy!

't Mouternistjen is located in bungalow park de Monnik. Close to the village. There is a large garden at the house. The house has recently been modernized. It is insulated, there is underfloor heating, a new kitchen, the bathroom and toilet have been renovated and there is a new floor. The house can accommodate 2-6 people. Two bedrooms have a double bed. In the third bedroom, there is a bunk bed.
