Het aanzicht van het huis dateert uit eind 18e eeuw. En binnen zijn oudere elementen uit de beginperiode (1390) van het huis te zien. Gouda heeft een station en is centraal gelegen tussen Den Haag, Rotterdam, Leiden, Delft en Utrecht. De steden zijn aan te raden voor een dagtrip en goed te bereiken per trein. Ook bent u snel in Amsterdam.

Monumental farm Het Vinkenest in Oud-Alblas, located directly on the waterfront "De Alblas". The mills of Kinderdijk are a few kilometers away and are of course a must to go to. The old city of Dordrecht can be reached by car within 10 minutes, and in 20 minutes you are in Rotterdam. Recently, there is also an 8-person sloop for rent as an addition. This is the ideal location for a great family weekend and not suitable for groups under 25 years of age.

Location In the middle of the historical city centre of Delft, just around the corner of the ‘Beestenmarkt’ (known for its lively cafes) you can find our monumental house. The charming and spacious apartment is situated on the second floor of the house. The house is rented without a garden, but from inside or out on the balcony you will have stunning views of the mills. Enjoy this monumental cottage located on the Vliet, right next to the bridge. The cottage is the living area of a former farm, used for years as a bridge keeper's post. The bridge is now operated remotely, so the cottage lost its function. Now it has become a wonderful and beautiful place to enjoy life by the water. Wake up in the morning to the sound of birds and the rooster, yet within 20 minutes you're in the heart of Utrecht either by car or bus or tram, busstop at 2 minutes walk, a 10 minutes walk to the shopping centre and to the old town. Bikes are available to use.

Our cosy studio has been created to enjoy a pleasant stay. With two free bikes it is possible to go either to the city center or the beach in 10 minutes. In the direct area you will find a nice variety of restaurants, retailers and a supermarket.
