North Country Cottage

This beautiful, recently renovated home is out in the country down a dead-end road, but still only a few miles from the town of Ladysmith. It is about a mile from a little county park on the Dairyland Reservoir, only a few miles from the local golf course, and just down the road from hopping on the snowmobile trail in the winter. Inside find bright spaces, full log beams, and a hobbiton feel; open concept living area with fully stocked kitchen, table, bunk beds, large couch, TV and Wi-Fi; bedroom with queen bed and stowed air mattress; full bath; play room. The entire suite space is yours.

Relax with the whole family or some friends at this peaceful place to stay. Kayak, fish, and swim in the lakes. Sit around the fire, play yard games, rest in the hammock, or watch a movie. There are plenty of ways to keep the kids active inside and outside. This cabin includes a game table, sandbox, board/card games, art supplies, kayaks, row boat, and fishing poles. Make many memories together skipping rocks, catching fireflies, eating smores, taking in the beautiful views, and sharing laughs.

You will have the entire upstairs to yourself during your stay, including a bedroom with a queen size bed, a bathroom with shower, and an open concept kitchen, dining area, living room, and work desk. You'll also have your own private entrance and free off street parking in the back of the house.

Reconnect with nature, history, & yourself as you explore central Wisconsin in this adorable log cabin nestled in between two lakes. Available all year round, this property includes access to a private 55-acre lake (North Harper Lake) with a screened-in deck, two piers, multiple watercraft, and a raft. Directly across Rustic Road 1 is a public boat launch and beach on South Harper Lake. Countless hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, UTV, & biking trails are only a few miles away.

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). The home is only 2 blocks from bars and restaurants and less than 5 blocks from Historic Downtown Wausau. Located on the Jersey Flowage (Tomahawk River) Just mins from Downtown Tomahawk, Lake Nokomis, and Lake Mohawksin, across the street from Halfmoon Lake. All utilities are included in your rental price, even Wi-Fi.
