Idyllic house on the Lower Rhine in Kevelaer

The lovingly renovated house is "a bit like before" with a large kitchen-living room, sofa and three bedrooms. In the courtyard there is a seating area with a grill and parking spaces for bicycles. We use it as a passage to our apartment. It is 50 meters to the supermarket, 500 meters to the pedestrian zone, 1.4 km to the train station. Families are welcome with us. The house has baby gates on the stairs. Be careful, the stairs are steep. I speak English, a little French, and my husband a little Dutch

Centuries ago, a castle called ‘Huis Ulft’ was located on the premises. It used to belong to the sister of one of the Netherlands most important historical figures. From there, you can get to the following places very quickly: - Old town & downtown 9 min. - Königsallee 8 min. - Central Station in 5 minutes - Messe Düsseldorf 29 min (1 time change) Supermarkets, pharmacies, Starbucks, Mc Fit and a Portuguese restaurant are right around the corner (about 400m) and within walking distance.

My apartment is a small, attached house with terrace and garden. It is located in a quiet residential area in the center of Raesfeld-Erle, a village of 3600 inhabitants on the edge of the Ruhr area. Here you can combine Münsterland flair with everything that the big cities offer. The oldest oak tree in Germany is in Erle. A chestnut avenue, the rustic schnapps distillery and the old windmill also invite you to cycle and walk on numerous hiking routes.
