Bästekille is a small village situated at a high elevation between Södra Mellby and Vitaby. It is 3 km to Kivik and about 18 km to Simrishamn. Here, you'll find apple orchards and grazing cows. In the village, there is a farm shop selling eggs, potatoes, and seasonal vegetables. Everything is certified by the farmer in the village. The Fabriken art gallery is located in the village. In the southern part of Mellby, there is a bakery where you can buy delicious pastries and bread. The nearest beaches are Kivik or Vitemölla, where there are beautiful sandy beaches. The cottage is located by the road that runs through the village.

If you like old houses with preserved details, then welcome to Bergåsa! There are two apartments for rent and a small cottage. See my profile You have your own private entrance and garden. Wi-Fi and Chromecast are available. I live in one barn and my sister in the other. So there can be a bit of hustle and bustle, but we are nice and easygoing. A cat may come for a visit. If you go south, you will experience the genuine Brantevik that turns into the beautiful "Grönet" that offers both lovely swimming by cliffs or calm, peaceful walks along the sea.
