In addition, there are a number of downhill ski slopes and cross-country ski trails available in winter. By car, the popular excursion destinations Wasserkuppe and Milseburg can be reached in approx. 10 minutes. At 950 m, the Wasserkuppe is the highest mountain in Hesse and offers a wide range of leisure activities for the whole family (skiing, sailing and paragliding, summer toboggan run, climbing forest, etc.).

Our apartment on the lake pond is characterized by the walking distance to Hünfeld city center with good infrastructure. This includes numerous shopping opportunities. The immediate proximity to the Hünfelder leisure activities such as the Haselsee, the outdoor swimming pool, the Bürgerpark, the tennis facilities as well as the indoor swimming pool, etc. make your stay a relaxation. The historic baroque town of Fulda, as well as the Hessian Kegelspiel and the Hochrhön are worth exploring at 10-30 km.

Small cottage in the countryside

Pure relaxation offers the small green house with its large terrace doors and access to the fenced private garden. From the 180 cm bed, you can watch the sunrise and when it gets cool in the evening, the wood stove provides additional warmth. A private room is available for working or for game evenings, but on request it can also be quickly converted into a children's room. Small cats and dog-friendly dogs are allowed to travel on request. Pure nature perfect also for bikers & cyclists

In the middle of the Rhön Biosphere Reserve, you will find the newly renovated vacation home, also known as “Hühnerhuis” in family circles. Here you can experience unique sunrises. If you want to enjoy absolute peace, this is the place to be! Hiking trails, bike trails, and various attractions are very close. Among other things, alpaca hikes are possible directly in the village. Just ask us about excursion destinations and we will be happy to help you. Pets are not allowed.

Dear potential guests: Whether you are passing through, for a short break or for longer - our apartment is quickly accessible and a good place to relax in the evening - e.g. on the balcony with a view. The sofa-bed in the living room is very comfortable, so you can sleep well in two rooms. In the village, there is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool and good gastronomy - around it a lot of forest. Our cafe has breakfast on weekdays from 6 or 7 o'clock on weekends.

A unique house for unique days... ...with our tiny house in the Hessian Rhön. It is in the large garden next to a second tiny house. From the house and from the terrace you have an unobstructed beautiful view of the valley. The house is fully equipped. It is made up of a bathroom with shower and water toilet, kitchenette, dining table, fold-out sofa, satellite TV, Wi-Fi. A staircase leads to the heavenly sleeping area (1.60 x 2.00). Cozy attic apartment in an idyllic location, combined living-bedroom with sofa bed for child(ren), fully equipped kitchen, private seating in the spacious garden. In the spacious bathroom with shower and toilet, there is also a washing machine and dryer. The couch in the combined living room/bedroom offers a sleeping accommodation for two children (up to 8 years free of charge). A bicycle garage is available for bicycles.

Get back in touch with nature at this incomparable retreat. We offer a parking space for camper vans. Cyclists and hikers are welcome. You can also set up a tent. In an annex you will find a new bathroom with shower and toilet. A fully equipped fitted kitchen with seating as well as a washing machine are also available.
