This is a 20-minute walk from the Ainu culture revival base, Upopoy, a symbol of ethnic coexistence, to the private lodging, Hanamanyakudarake, which is very charming. Our home is a calm, family-like room surrounded by walls designed in collaboration with Yumi Takeshi. It is a quiet residential area located about 15 minutes from Shirako Station, but there is a supermarket, drug store, convenience store, and a charcoal-grilled Shirako beef shop, a specialty of Shirako, just a 5-minute walk away. The living room has a large dining table and a handmade veranda, creating a space where guests can relax and gather. Nearby, surrounded by nature, is Lake Poroto, where you can enjoy skating and wakasagi fishing in the winter, and the scenery throughout the year. In addition, there are the ruins of the Sendai Domain Hirosegenshuku, which is open to the public as a nationally designated historic park. There is also a ski resort where even beginners can experience skiing, about an hour away by car. In our garden, 100 kinds of hosta grasses bloom in all seasons, and about 50 roses bloom. In the garden, there is a pizza oven where you can try making pizza, and a brick charcoal grill where you can try a barbecue.

Aihara, a long-established restaurant known for its Ishikari hot pot, was renovated over 100 years ago based on Aihara Fisheries, a fishing company in Ishikari Beach. A house in the great outdoors overlooking the Ishikari Lighthouse, the setting of the 1957 movie, "The Wandering Years". It is a treasure trove of coastal plants and wild birds on a magnificent natural plain adjacent to Hamanasu-no-Oka Park, which spreads out at the mouth of the Ishikari River. From June to September, it is a comfortable space surrounded by a colony of Hamanasu flowers (Ainu name Mauuni). (Accommodation is available from mid-April to the end of October) The 2nd floor is a cafe lounge, "Mouni no Oka", which also appears in the movies "Hoshi wo Mimamatte KUU" and "Tantei wa Bar ni Iru 1". A cafe with a panoramic view of Ishikari Bay. You can enjoy a natural hot spring at the nearby Banya-no-Yu (600 m). The nearby Frontier Riding Club also offers a beach walking course. This house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is about a 2-minute drive from the Date interchange. Date-Mombetsu Station is about a 7-minute drive away. If you contact us in advance, we can also pick you up at the station by car. There are supermarkets "Arcs" and "Coop Sapporo" within a 10-minute walk. In the city center, which is about a 15-minute walk away, you can find various restaurants such as ramen, kaiten sushi, izakaya, and several fast-food options.
