Family apartment "at the barn gate"

The former farm with its typical Rügen construction (brick and thatched roof) is located on a quiet side street overlooking the garden and the surrounding fields, an ideal starting point for cycling and discovery tours across the island of Rügen. The accommodation is close to the island "capital" Bergen (only 5 km away) and is located in the middle of the island and also in the middle of nature. We have a large living and play garden to relax and feel good for everyone.

Sweden house, right on the Bodden, quiet location

The Swedish house is sheltered from the wind in a garden. From there, you have direct access to the Jasmund Bodden past our apartments. The house has three bedrooms, a bright, fully equipped kitchen with dining table and a spacious living area with fireplace. Two bathrooms, one with shower, one with bathtub make it possible to get up in a relaxed manner even for several people. On the south-facing sun terrace you can enjoy wonderful wind-protected vacation evenings.

The bright apartment AURELIA on the raised ground floor with beautiful views of the greenery and proximity to the Jasmund Bodden has 64 m² of living space and is designed for 4 people. House-trained dogs are allowed by arrangement. Each room has a small balcony in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows. The apartment has friendly colors and light furniture. The French doors and balconies give a feeling of soothing closeness to nature.

The loft-style apartment with high-quality furniture and fully equipped kitchen as well as the two bathrooms (one of them en-suite) are furnished with attention to detail and an eye for beauty. Relax in the infrared cabin, which is located in one of the two bedrooms, each equipped with 180x200 box spring beds, or in the freestanding bathtub. Alternatively, you can relax on the large terrace overlooking the harbor and lighthouse.

Our two identical holiday cottages are located in a separate building next to our main house, each with its own private entrance – quiet and private. The sauna is right next to the natural swimming pond and can be used freely, with towels and bathrobes included. The pond is perfect for cooling off after the sauna. Centrally yet peacefully located, directly by the Small Jasmund Bodden and next to a large nature reserve.

A few years ago, I bought the house with a large orchard meadow, pond and old barn in the middle of the countryside. Since then, I have lived here with my dog, 5 sheep and a few chickens. The rental income helps us to further develop the farm. This year, a cat from the animal shelter also moved into the barn. That's why I can no longer allow dogs in principle. Feel free to write if you want to bring your dog.
