Sample local cheeses, lamb, fish and seafood or stoke up the wood-burning stove, have a glass of wine and and savour the peace and tranquillity! Word of warning: we are VERY remote, (1km off the road down a rough track). With almost no public transport, own transport (eg car) is highly recommended - see Getting Around!

Set in a stunning peaceful location, Marthas Studio is a self-contained mezzanine accommodation. 15 minutes walk to Sneem with all of its amenities. The mezzanine level offers a super king bed, which can be adapted to 2 large twin beds; plus a small single bed. Open plan downstairs with well equipped kitchen, diner & sitting room , fridge, cooker, microwave, TV. Shower room & toilet are downstairs, together with cupboard space for clothing. The Beara Bus is a unique living space situated on the coastline with stunning views across the Atlantic to the Sheeps Head and Mizen Head Peninsulas and Bere Island. The entrance to the harbour of Castletownbere ( Irelands second largest fishing port) can be seen with the daily coming and goings of the fishing fleet. In the waters below the Bus basking shark, minke whale and dolphins are frequent visitors. The sun rising up over Sheeps Head Peninsula can make for an unforgettable breakfast !

We are situated on the Beara Peninsula, just up the road from Helen's Bar in Kilmackilogue. Our Shepherds Hut called The Bothy, overlooks the sea, and is three minutes walk to the beach. Enjoy nature at its best with views of Kenmare Bay and its surrounding mountains. It is a hikers paradise, lying just off 'The Beara Way' . Cyclists will also be in their element with The Healy Pass a few kilometres away. Kenmare is half an hour away with wonderful shops and restaurants.

We are a working beef farm and can look after your bikes/motorbikes on site in a safe environment. The Pods have wonderful mountain views and to those who enjoy nature and getting away from the madness for a little while, then this is for you. Each pod is like a little mini apartment. The Hideaway @ Three Castle Head

The Hideaway at Three Castle Head is truly unique property situated at the head of a beautiful valley with not another house in sight and surrounded only by wild nature. The views from the cabin are breathtaking with Dunlough Castle in the near distance, the lake beside it and the wild Atlantic ocean stretching off to Beara Peninsula across the water.
