In 2019 my husband and I set out to renovate this old pool house into a self-sustainable apartment or tiny home in our backyard. The Amberg House was completed in 1911 at the pinnacle of Wright's Prairie Style influence. Though every Wright home is special, the Amberg House is a unique collaboration between Wright and Marion Mahony. Mahony worked with Wright from 1896 until 1909.
