The Hayloft is a stunning, converted early 19th century barn with old wooden beams and period charm. It sits in the pretty village of Hurstbourne Tarrant in the heart of the Test Valley surrounded by beautiful countryside providing walks on the famous Test Way. Our superb local pub is just across the road. Stonehenge, Highclere Castle and the Bombay Sapphire Distillery are all nearby, as well as the quaint market towns of Stockbridge and Hungerford and the ancient cathedral city of Winchester.

Beekeepers cottage was part of a watercress farm and is situated in the grounds of Bridge cottage with the pillhill chalk stream running past the door, a cosy cottage which if fully self contained, set in large grounds on the edge on the village, there is an abundance of wildlife, friendly ducks and resident chickens and a working apiary, fresh eggs and local honey when available, although it has a rural feel the town of Andover with all its amenities is an easy walk or short drive

Guests have use of the garden right on the river which is ideal for relaxing with a picnic and a glass of something or just enjoying the wildlife and stunning scenery. Wherwell is an historic and picturesque thatched village, deep in the heart of rural Hampshire, and the beautiful Test Valley. It is close to many pretty villages and historic towns and cities, and offers access to many places of interest.

There are 2 pubs approx 10 min walk, and another in next village about 2 miles away.

Nether Wallop is a pretty village in the heart of the Test Valley close to the small town of Stockbridge with its independent shops and eateries. Nether Wallop featured in the Miss Marple series starring Joan Hickson.

Andover station 1.5 miles, London 1hr by train. Easy access A303/M3. I use this as a workspace and spare space for family when they visit, but also rent it out on Airbnb from time to time.
