A true gem just one hour drive from Colombo and an ideal location to base yourself on arrival at BIA. A picturesque area surrounded by hills and walking trails to enjoy a short relaxing stay and a convenient base to tour the country. This little treasure is fronted by a “rice field” which provides organic rice served at the villa and dine 'al fresco' by the swimming pool among cinnamon bushes. The 35’ pool provides adequate cooling off during the hot season. All meals are included for 4 guests
“Lovely peaceful place to be. Nice and clean - easy to get in touch with Dileepa (the host) if any questions arise. The housekeeper and his wife did not speak good English but were really sweet and made good local food. They live on the property, so 100% private it is not - however, they stay in their own house, so they were in no way bothering us or our holiday. Thanks for a great stay!”
Peaceful house with cabanas and garden, surrounded by tropical plants and mango trees. Elephants and water falls.. Small tipical sri lankan village very close to Horana city. Supermarket very near, bus stop 5 min away. Possibilities to rent motorbikes. Guided tours possible.
Luxurious villa in Kaluaggala where serenity meets elegance. This holiday home is located within the ancient Seethawaka kingdom, with an atmosphere of coolness and freshness from the surrounding waterways, Wak Oya and the Kelani River. Just 32km from Colombo, you will experience the true Sri Lankan spirit in this village. This beautifully designed and furnished villa offers 3 air-conditioned bed rooms, a living and dining area and a well-equipped kitchen for all your culinary needs.
“The house is simply magnificent! After a long trip to Sri Lanka, they didn’t even expect to be in such a stylish, comfortable and clean house! When they entered, everyone was just ecstatic, even the children! The house was obviously not being built for rent. A very interesting architectural project, a stylish designer interior, excellent furniture, cleanliness, a fully equipped kitchen with appliances. It’s a pity that we stayed only for one night. But besides visiting the water park in this area there is nothing more to do (the level of the water park, by the way, is quite low. It makes sense to visit only if you are with children). A big plus of this option is that both the house and the plot are fully provided to you. In the other houses in which we lived in Sri Lanka, the caretaker lived very close by and constantly looked after us. It was uncomfortable. The only difficulty was finding a home. It’s better to immediately request the exact location on the map with coordinates. Getting without a car is most likely problematic. And for the car there is parking in the yard. A small minus could be called the lack of Wi-Fi Internet, but mobile Internet was excellent and it didn’t cause any problems. I highly recommend this house to everyone and, if possible, stay here for at least two nights!”
