You can see many wild animals such as hares, birds, swallows, deer, marters, but also our own sheep, pigs, chickens, rabbits and dog. There is a lot of space and peace on our property with an orchard and a large vegetable garden. With a 10 minute bike ride you are in the center of Heerenveen, the forests of the Oranjewoud, sail on the Tjeukemeer.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Located a few hundred meters from the beautiful Thialf ice stadium, in a very quiet neighborhood and close to the charming center of Heerenveen, you will find our new, cozy apartment equipped with every comfort. Heerenveen is centrally located in the province of Friesland, so you can visit the most beautiful towns and lakes that Friesland has to offer. (Sneek, Lemmer, etc.) You can park your car for free during your stay.

Here in the quiet Frisian Rohel, you can really be outside, feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin. Cycling and walking along the meadows and (cold) swimming in the Tjeukemeer. Drink a glass of wine on the terrace by the water, with the view of infinity, under the old fruit trees in the garden. Apart from the sounds of birds, the rustling of the wind and in the distance a tractor, you hear nothing at all here. The sunsets can be amazingly beautiful here.
