Cat lovers are here!Mad Cat Hostel Osaka & Bar opened in August 2019. It is a small inn run by two couples who love to travel, a backpacker couple and a signboard cat Kogo-chan & Maru-chan. The nyankos are from stray cats, so they are a little shy, but if you look at the two people sleeping here and there in the inn, you will be healed very much. DIY renovation of the nagoya over 80 years old, beach-style bar on the first floor, a living room where everyone can relax and around the water, the room on the second floor is finished in the old house style.Thanks for removing the ceiling, it is full of openness. Even if it is more than 80 years old, the water around it has been completely renovated, so the shower and toilet are shiny.There is also a washing machine (for a fee) in the large kitchen, so it is recommended for long-term stays. There is a welcome drink service at the bar on the first floor, so you can relax with a drink or enjoy a conversation with the local people. We are a hip boutique hostel in Shinsekai within walking distance of Tsutenkaku Tower, a famous symbol of Osaka. Travel around Osaka is easy as we are located within walking distance of three stations (JR Line, Midosuji and Sakaisuji subway lines). We are also within walking distance of central areas such as Namba. Around our hostel there are many cheap, local restaurants, as well as super markets and shops. The hostel features a shared living area containing a loft with cafe and a records shop. The cafe, located on the first floor serves in-house roasted coffee and some meals. You can play any records you would like to listen to! At the cafe, we sometimes have live music events and food parties so there are many chances to meet local Osaka people. We invite you to relax in our building, enjoy a friendly, fun and intimate atmosphere, surf our top-of-the-range internet(Wi-Fi) and make yourself at home!

It's possible to go to both of Tengachaya and Hanazonocho sta in 6mins on foot.You can go to NAMBA in 5mins and UMEDA in 14mins by train with no transfer.Tengachaya is a good place to be able to come from KIX with no transfer, and there’re many well-kept-secret restaurants,so you can enjoy!Staffs are kind and friendly,so you would like to come surely again^^Please feel free to ask anything about Osaka!!
