With grasslands, water, and patches of forest in between. It looks cozy, those grasslands among the trees. Smûk, we say in Frisian. As many as 250 species of birds and many other animals live here. The area also received pingos as a gift from the Ice Age. Located in the middle of 2 national parks: Lauwersmeer and the Alde Feannen. Ideal cycling and hiking area.

Guesthouse De Wetterwille

Home base for (business) overnight stays in Drachten. Gastenverblijf De Wetterwille is located in the greenest residential area of Drachten. The former garage has now been converted into a guest house with all the amenities of a modern studio. The small but cozy living room is furnished with a full kitchen, a small dining area and two armchairs. On the upper floor with a loft, there is a double box spring. You have a private entrance and free parking. The shopping center is within walking distance.

New Tinyhouse in the center of Drachten

This memorable space is anything but ordinary. Spend the night in a newly completed Tiny House within walking distance of the city center, restaurants, the cinema and public transportation. The tiny house has all the comforts. A full kitchen, including combination microwave, refrigerator, stove and coffee and tea. Perfect for a relaxing midweek, weekend or wellness retreat – for couples, families or friends who appreciate peace and luxury.

Villa Rose (on the waterfront)

Stay in one of the most beautiful villas in Friesland. The entire upper floor is at your disposal. Includes bathroom with bath (no bubbles), a living room with luxury sofa and television with Netflix, Videoland and a mini kitchen with microwave, fridge and dishwasher. The accommodation is sustainable (hardly any gas use) and equipped with air conditioning in the living room + bedrooms. In the winter months, it can be heated. Koetshuis Puur Eastermar is an exclusive apartment in the former coach house of our monumental farmhouse from 1860. The farm is located on De Lits between Burgumermeer and De Leyen. With its own jetty, this location is an excellent base for water sports or just to enjoy the breathtaking views. The area is also very suitable for hiking and biking in the typical coulisse landscape. The coach house is very spacious (75m2) and equipped with every comfort.
