Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. In het mooie West-Friesland te Oostwoud verhuren wij een 4-persoons vakantiehuis genaamd “Papenveer“. Deze vakantiewoning bevindt zich op een klein vakantiepark. Het is gelegen aan doorgaand vaarwater met mooi uitzicht en privacy. De tuin is volledige omheind Papenveer is een knus, huisje voorzien van een moderne keuken en volledig ingerichte badkamer én 2 slaapkamers. Our lodge is equipped with all modern amenities, such as a modern kitchen, a smart TV and a Quooker. The cozy veranda is complete with a luxurious jacuzzi and wood-burning stove. The lodge, with its large private garden and unobstructed views, is completely separated from the farmhouse by a fence and is accessible only to you as a guest. From the Finnish barrel sauna on the adjacent terrace, you look out over the picturesque city meadows. A delicious breakfast is available upon request.

De omgeving biedt ruime mogelijkheden voor uitgebreide fietsroutes. Daarnaast bevindt zich op loopafstand (800m) een brasserie waar je heerlijk kan lunchen en dineren. Wij bieden tevens mogelijkheid om zowel de Vliet en omliggende plassen als het centrum van Leiden te verkennen op een luxe sloep, in overleg is hierin veel mogelijk.

Welcome to our 'B and B 40 A'

Our B&B is located near the tourist center of Medemblik, on navigable water, with a parking space on private property. Our living room has an open kitchen with hob, Senseo, kettle, fridge, combi microwave. and there is Wi-Fi available. It is a complete cottage with its own front door, and from this ideally located accommodation you can cycle, sail, walk, to museums and or to the castle, or go on the scenic steam train to Hoorn, etc. You can also rent bicycles from us.

Romantic stay with a view from your bed on the water and a 2-person swing. From the love-seat you can watch TV or the fireplace (heating) and you have it cozy in the winter or you can sit outside on the terrace by the water in the summer to daydream, read or play games. Hot tub, kayak or 2 SUP boards can be booked. There are also bicycles, which you can borrow for free. The bathroom is 1 step outside the pipo and all for you.
