WELCOME to our newly renovated and modern guest house of 110 sqm, with colors on the walls, painted with environmentally and allergy-friendly paint. The house is close to the forest, which is filled with beautiful lakes, and it is a 3-minute drive from Silkeborg's most beautiful lake, which you can see in the pictures. There is grass + outdoor areas, and the house has two bedrooms, a large living room + conservatory, kitchen, hallway, bathroom and toilet. There is WiFi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to enjoy peace, nature experiences, socializing and lovely conversations!

From the apartment's own terrace, you can follow the life of the lake in a wealth of different birds, and everything from kayaks to shuttle boats. Beautiful hiking, MTB tracks, cycling From the cozy mountain town of Laven, the train runs in a short time to Ry, Silkeborg, Sejs, Aarhus, the station is only 400m from the apartment. There is no internal staircase between the floors, and there is a private entrance to the apartment. Wifi 👍

WELCOME to a stay in our beautiful apartment, which is located in the amazing nature, right up the forest and with several lakes in the area - including a short distance to Østre Søbad, where you can swim all year round. There's also a sauna in connection with the lake. We live in the middle of Søhøjlandet and have a 10-minute drive to Silkeborg city center. There are 2 km to Pizzaria and shopping in Virklund. There is wifi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to peace and good nature experiences. There is underfloor heating throughout the home.

Relax in this unique and beautiful home. One of Denmark's most beautiful places! Enjoy the sunset from the deck chairs overlooking Julsø. Jump into the lake from the boat bridge and rinse yourself in hot water overlooking Himmelbjerget. Take your kayak and sail a morning trip and meet the heron. Enjoy your morning coffee in the pavilion with the wood stove on. Read a book in the double bed overlooking the lake or take the mountain bike and take a ride on the route outside the door. Guesthouse with a view in Søhøjlandet

Cozy guest house with kitchen, bathroom on the ground floor and two living rooms with a bed as well as a room on the 1st floor. There's plenty of room and great views. Original condition with old carpets and a few punctured windows. The location is top for cycling and hiking in Søhøjlandet. 5 km to Himmelbjerget through the forest. 1.5 km to Ry station and the cozy harbor. The stairs are steep but with doors that can be closed if there are small children. We have had many great vacation experiences with Airbnb ourselves and want to welcome you!

Voervadsbro: Stay with access to Gudenåen / campfire

Find the coziness and tranquility when you stay in this nice, newly renovated home. Good access via road 453/461. Nature is right in the backyard, as the house has land directly to the Gudenåen. For those of you who enjoy fishing, hiking, cycling or rowing in a canoe/kayak but want a real bed and a hot shower after an active day. Sit by the fire and pitch your tent by the river. The apartment is on the 1st floor and was thoughtfully and beautifully renovated in the spring of 2023. Bed linen, towels, dishcloths, etc. are included in the price.

Small cottage on a large natural plot close to Gudenåen

The cottage is simple and personally decorated. Still with some of the atmosphere from '67 when it was built. It is located on a large natural plot (3,000 m2) in a protected cottage area, close to Gudenåen with access to a common area with a jetty and its own canoe. The forest, Mossø and the heather hills are just around the corner. On the property, there is an annex that we ourselves have for our products. Sverre is a ceramist and Anne Mette is a weaver. We live (and work) in the neighboring house and are always available when we are home.

Relax in this unique and tranquil home overlooking Vejle Fjord, fields and forests. The house has a living room with kitchen, dining area and sofa area, toilet with shower and upstairs with bedroom. There are two elevation beds (double bed) as well as a single bed. Please note that the stairs to the 1st floor are a little steep and there is not so much space around the double bed. Outside, there are two terraces, both with views. There is a wood-burning stove with freely available firewood. Both bed linen and towels are included.

This unique place is located in the middle of Søhøjland's vast forests on the hiking and cycling route between Silkeborg and Ry, close to the MTB track "Denmark's roof". It is 200 m to Julsø, 4 km to Himmelbjerget and 3 km to Denmark's cleanest lake, Slåensø. The place exudes Scandinavian style, which is conducive to both stays in nature while there are beautiful and charming facilities available. If you want to combine a nature stay with cultural experiences, you are only 35 km from Aarhus and 14 km to Silkeborg.

Vidkærhøj

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗
