The Optimist is located on open water and from the terrace you can sail to the Sneekermeer within 10 minutes. Cycling and hiking are also ideal here. Sneek and Joure are nearby and are very popular for shopping. There are many museums in the area. Parking is free on site and there is a charging point for electric cars.
