The Ocean House is unmatched for summer beach fun or romantic winter storm watching. It is a one-of-a-kind timbered refuge in a lush rain forest on the WA Coast, among the highest-rated Airbnbs in Washington. Heated wood floors. High wood ceilings. Roaring surf out every window. Miles of beach out the back door and down a stairway through an enchanted forest. Close to Seabrook, great restaurants, Olympic National Park, Lake Quinault Lodge, Beaches 1 - 4, and Ocean Shores.
“Like so many others have said, Paul's place is dreamy. It's beautiful, comfortable, has lots to do, and feels like a true getaway. With the quality of the house, the property, and the amenities, you feel like you're staying at a friend's place... a friend who trusts you to take care of a home he has put lots of love and care into. The highlights for us included having fires/smores in the outdoor fireplace, walking the well-maintained and magical trails, using the guidebook to explore the area (we loved Lake Quinault and the hikes in that area and food from the Moclips Country Store), playing with the outdoor gear, and descending and ascending to the beach multiple times. The stairs down to the beach are really a marvel; the way they were built around the beautiful trees is very cool. Beds were comfortable, we had the kitchen gear we needed to make a couple of dinners and Belgian waffles, and there are sweet spots on the property to eat, drink, and hang out to watch the sunset. It was such a restorative experience. If you have the means, I highly recommend it.”

“My draw to Laura’s place was it’s location - at a beautiful bay on the Olympic Peninsula; and that it had a fenced in yard for my sweet doggie Ramona. I initially booked this stay in late April, but the stay-at-home orders had other plans. Laura was patient and cooperative as I had to rescheduled the trip twice to accommodate the current restrictions, finally arriving mid-July 2020 for 4-night stay. First of all, I was more than ready, as we all are, to spend a few days in zip code as far as possible from my own😏. My patience was well rewarded. I can’t overstate how beautiful the setting is. The spacious and completely enclosed backyard - enriched with an abundance of flowers and plants - overlooks a beautiful bay and marsh area. My morning meditation was often met with dense fog, casting the bay in a soft blanket. This slowly gave way to sun and a beautiful view. Ramona - a rescue I adopted in the fall of 2018 - took to the entire place immediately, like it was her second home. Lots of sniffing and running around🐕. The home is well appointed, with lots of extras, including protective bed and futon covers for the dog - even spare poop bags😏. Plus lots of toys and treats. Those of you with with dogs will love it! Laura‘s place is minutes from Westport, where Ramona and I did a very nice dune trail walk along the marina. It is also close to other coastal areas, like Ocean Shores, where we took a day trip to check out Damon Point State Park. There was a sweet ambience and energy to Laura’s place I haven’t really experienced at other Airbnb’s. I certainly plan to return!”
This unique and cozy tiny house is located in a quiet yet central area of town. It is only a 10 minute walk away from the beach and most restaurants and shops. It is a private 2 story house with an updated kitchen and bathroom, seaside decor and a large deck. Enjoy the sun on a private deck and listen to the ocean, watch deers passing by the place almost every day, spend a warm cozy evening with your loved ones playing board games and watching movies.
“We had such a nice time at Alice’s cottage. It was updated and organized well. We ate out on the little deck and enjoyed the tv and DVD player. It is centrally located and we walked to multiple restaurants for takeout and to the beach. We loved the privacy compared to a hotel.”
