Garden Retreat - Loire Valley

Our 'Garden Retreat' is a tranquil, elegantly furnished cottage overlooking a sunken garden. The accommodation has a bedroom (queen-sized bed), a fully-equipped kitchen, a sitting area with a sleeper-sofa, and a small office mezzanine. The garden is large with multiple places to sit and enjoy the shade or the sun. The Loire River itself is only 150 yards from the flat. Large individuals take note: the shower is a standard 67cm x 67cm. Although we love pets; but we have a one pet only policy.

A heated pool is surrounded by manicured grass, featuring a pink flamingo float and colorful inflatables. A wooden terrace with loungers overlooks the pool area, while a retractable shelter allows for versatile use. Lush trees provide a tranquil backdrop.

The "La Terrasse du Loir" Gîte is private (opened in 2021), you will be alone in the entire gîte. The pool and telescopic enclosure were installed in 2022. It is heated to 29°. For 2025: Heated pool from March 28 to November 2 inclusive. For 2026: Heated pool from March 27 to November 1 inclusive. 115 m2 cottage + large 24 m² terrace overlooking Le Loir located 2.5 km from the Zoo. Accommodation capacity 12 people with the sofa bed in the living room (10 people with the 4 bedrooms).

The old house of the Guissinnières is located in the heart of the Loire Valley between the pretty villages of Gizeux (and its superb castle) and Parçay-les-Pins in the Angevine countryside. Surrounded by orchards, vineyards, La Vieille Maison has a kitchen/dining room/living room with the charm of exposed beams and a bread oven. The bedroom is equipped with a king size bed (180 x 200) and overlooks the private garden. A folding extra bed is provided for an extra person.

Full of character and charm, thick local limestone stone walls keep the house cool in summer yet cosy during the colder, truffle-hunting months. The covered terrace is perfect for alfresco dining and has an uninterrupted view of the gardens.

Gîte rated 3 stars by Anjou Tourisme. This newly renovated place offers a relaxing and restful stay for the whole family. You will be in the heart of the Loire Valley between Angers and Tours, 30 minutes from Saumur, 20 km from the Bourgueil vineyards. You can visit the many castles and rest around our pleasant heated and covered pool (12 m by 5 m). The shelter is composed of 6 telescopic modules sliding on rails. Each module can be opened or closed.

An open interior space features a wooden dining table with chairs, adorned with a floral tablecloth. Exposed wooden beams are visible on the ceiling, contributing to the rustic charm. A cozy seating area with a television is seen in the background, along with a brick fireplace.

In winter, the pool is not available. 3-star cottage.

Televisions in bedroom and living room, Wi-Fi. Outdoor terrace, private pool, covered and heated from 04/04 to 11/03. Ideal location for discovering the Loire Valley castles. Note! Young Malinois dog, very affectionate, present on the property.

The Logis de la Tour Saint-Michel, dating from the 12th century, is one of the buildings of the former Cistercian abbey of Bellebranche. In the heart of a medieval hamlet surrounded by nature, backed by a forest surrounded by ponds, it is located in South Mayenne, 12 km from Sablé-sur-Sarthe and 15 km from Château-Gontier. Removed from the noises of the world, there is an almost monastic silence in this green setting.
