The Wee Hoosie

The Wee Hoosie offers you comfortable and cozy accommodation on a self-catering basis. The studio has a corner kitchen equipped with a full size cooker and fridge. There is an en-suite showerroom. The sun rises to the front and sets to the back, making this a light and bright space and with the wee garden with a patio to the rear you can enjoy a tiny home from home. There is private parking which affords more privacy. The studio is located in the garden of our home, we are on hand if required.

The Pod on the Hill

Situated approx.2.5 miles outside the village of Port Ellen, the POD offers peace, quiet and relaxation after exploring the distilleries and the joys of the Island. Port Ellen and Laphroaig can be seen from the POD which overlooks Kilnaughton Bay. The path to the three distilleries on this side of the Island starts in the village, taking you first to Laphroaig then Lagavulin , finishing at Ardbeg where delicious food is available. Come, find out for yourselves, a very warm welcome awaits you.

The Sea View Cottage, Kintyre Coast, Scotland

Enjoy stunning sea views towards Islay, Jura and Gigha from this peaceful stone-built cottage on the Kintyre Peninsula. Just 5 minutes from the Gigha ferry and 20 minutes from Islay ferries, it’s a perfect base for exploring Scotland’s West Coast. A 10-minute walk from the shore and Beacharr Standing Stone, the cottage offers direct access to coastal paths and surrounding landscape. Sleeping four, it’s ideal for couples, walkers, cyclists and remote workers seeking a relaxed coastal escape.

Beautiful granny flat with sea views, terrace, well-equipped kitchen and en-suite bathroom for up to 4 people. Unfortunately not suitable for dogs and small children. A further 3 rooms located in the main house can be additionally booked on Airbnb, also to provide a second bathroom. Please let me know via Airbnb Messenger who will be arriving and when so I can prepare the rooms. The sofa bed is a “small double” (1.20 m wide) and only suitable for one person, skinny couples or 2 children.

The Black House, Islay

The Black House is a unique property situated between Bruichladdich and Port Charlotte on the island of Islay. We use the house for High School to save commuting from Jura every day so don’t expect a pristine holiday let but rather a loved family space. There are 2 double beds and 2 bunk bedrooms (if you’re a party of single adults then 4 is the maximum number). Views are stunning and Islay’s great for whisky, wildlife or just rest and relaxation. Portbahn was our family home before moving to Jura, and we hope you'll find it as welcoming as we did. Porthole Cottage, Dunseverick, Bushmills

Detached farm cottage in a superb location on the Causeway Coastal Route above Whitepark Bay - midway between Ballycastle and Bushmills. The cover picture shows Ballintoy Harbour, a local beauty spot just a few minutes drive. Many attractions of the Causeway Coast region are just a five minute drive - eg, Bushmills, Giant’s Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede, Portballintrae, Dunluce Castle, Dark Hedges and Ballycastle. Ideally placed for day trips to Belfast, Londonderry and Donegal.

The Wee House

The Wee House is a one bedroom seafront cottage looking onto Port Ellen. Sleeping up to 4 guests with a sofa bed (full size double) in the living room. Listing price is for 2 guests sharing the bedroom. If the sofa bed is required for bookings of 2 guests please let us know as there is an extra charge (£10 per night). The cottage is within walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants and near to the distillery path taking you to Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg.

Snowdrop cabin is set in a spruce plantation which is a 25min walk to Port Ellen. Snowdrop cabins interior is modern yet comfortable, whilst nestling into its calm and tranquil surroundings. Snowdrop is made up of a sleeping Mezzanine, kitchen area, an everhot stove/oven ,and a modern bathroom. moving outdoors there is a gas BBQ, a wood fired hot tub and an outdoor decked area perfect for enjoying the view with a dram, Slainte. Starchmill Holiday Pod (Bruichladdich)

The Bruichladdich Pod sleeps up to 2 people, consisting of one bedroom with double bed, a toilet/shower room and a living area with double sofa bed. It also has a kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and table with 4 chairs. The pod is accessed through large patio doors which are perfect for enjoying the panoramic view. There is a large decking area in front with a picnic bench to enjoy dining al fresco.
