We have expanded the former granary under the roof of the old customs castle: 3 double rooms, 2 bathrooms and 1 combined kitchen/living room, ideally suited for a cozy stay with a historic ambiance. The flower corner in the courtyard with table and benches is also at your disposal. The city, park and pier are within walking distance. We didn't have the heart to tear down Grandma Hilde's house. So we renovated the house for 1 year and got as much charm as possible. Enjoy your own hideaway with a large sun terrace, the old half-timbered but modern facilities. The house is at the narrowest point of Starkenburg, so that you can enjoy the distant view towards the Mosel river and the beautiful Ahringstal. So you can visit Eltz Castle, explore the Moselle, hike the dream paths, take part in a wine tasting or take a boat trip.

Vacation home "Zum Bacchus"

Take a vacation in a late Gothic half-timbered house built in 1467. Feel the atmosphere of crooked walls and a floor that reflects the history of the house and its inhabitants. Also enjoy the hospitality of the wine god Bacchus of Bruttig-Fankel. Capacity for 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults. In the 100 sqm apartment you should immediately feel at home and enjoy the incredible views of the famous Malerwinkel, the city wall with the Liebesturm and Stahleck Castle.
