On the outskirts of Schwarzenhasel, surrounded by beautiful fields, meadows and forest, we welcome our guests in the unique surroundings of the centuries-old moated castle. Whether hiking, biking, paddling or swimming in the nearby solar outdoor pool, there is room here for the perfect vacation with family or friends - or for small family gatherings.

Vacation in the countryside

On our listed 300 year old farm we offer: two separate apartments for each 4 persons, with kitchen-living room, bathroom and bedroom with two floors each and about 50 square meters each. We are situated in the Südeichsfeld, a plush hilly low mountain landscape. Nature and surroundings invite you to hike or cycle. Draisine riding, visiting castles, climbing forest, a visit to the bear park Worbis or excursions to nearby half-timbered cities are popular excursion destinations.

Quietly located, fully equipped comfort apartment (approx. 70 square meters) for 2 or 4 (comfort occupancy) to a maximum of 6 people (exception with limited comfort) with direct access to the garden and pool area. Pool 4 x 8 m, covered and heatable. Ideal starting point for hikes, bike rides, draisine rides and excursions to Eichsfeld, Eisenach, Mühlhausen and others. Visit the beautiful half-timbered town of Wanfried in northern Hesse. Wanfried is located in the Werra-Meissner district and borders Thuringia. Here you can hike, walk, cycle, swim, canoe on the Werra or sit comfortably in a nearby beer garden. Our apartment is completely refurbished, equipped with a new kitchen and a new bathroom.
