We completed this dream chalet with about 200 m² of usable space in 2020 to spend our vacations in the beautiful Lachtal together with our two children. Whether you're in the living room, at the dining table, on the terrace, in the garden or in the hot tub – everywhere you can enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding mountain landscape.

Edelweiss Lodge

Experience alpine luxury at the Edelweiss Lodge in Hohentauern. Directly on the hiking and cycling trail. In winter only 100m to the ski slope of a small ski area. Chalet "Sunshine"

Our fantastic Chalet Sonnenschein is located in the middle of the small village of Hohentauern at 1275 meters above sea level and is a perfect starting point for winter activities such as skiing, cross-country skiing and skiing tours. It has a Schibox, 2 parking spaces and covered house access from the carport. In the house we offer a spacious living room with dining area, a sun-drenched conservatory and a very well equipped kitchen. On the 1st floor there is a bathroom and 3 bedrooms.

Vacation home: Great location, plenty of space and large garden

Experience special moments in this unique place to stay. Our vacation home is in a quiet location but is still very easily accessible because there is a very good road connection and direct connection to the bike path. Hiking trails into the forest also start right by the house. The house is very spacious and very close to nature inside and out. The spacious garden and terrace area offers tranquility, space and a good view of the adjacent meadows, forests and the farm.

Quaint mountain hut (self-catering)

Built around 1900, the mountain hut is located at 1150 m above sea level, far from public roads. 1 neighboring hut. Especially for motorsport fans, the hut is suitable (or for family members who do not want to go down :-)), it is only 3 km (6.4 km road) linear distance to the Red Bull Ring - engine noises audible. The cottage has its own source, electricity through PV system. Access: steep, unpaved forest road. 4x4 - at your own risk! Bring your own bedding / towels.

The minimalist alpine style creates a warm ambiance for your perfect nature vacation. Each chalet – Johann, Ferdinand, or Josef – pampers you with a mirrored outdoor sauna, a whirlpool, and pure wellness. A highlight for skiers: thanks to the ski-in/ski-out location, you can start your day of skiing right at your doorstep!

Zirbitzhütte with sauna and fireplace

Our cozy Zirbitzhütte with sauna and fireplace is located right on the edge of the forest with wonderful views of the mountains of the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen Natural Park at an altitude of 1050 meters. Right at your doorstep, the hiking trails start, the snow-sure ski resort Grebenzen can be reached in minutes. On the spacious, partially covered terrace, you can hear the sound of the nearby mountain stream, sun worshippers will get their money's worth here.

Getaway in the mountains Our self-catering mountain hut at 1170 m above sea level is a special place – secluded, quiet and full of history. Built in 1770 and once used as a farm, it still exudes the charm of bygone times. Here you will find real cottage life - crackling wood, a small stable, a wonderful secluded location and nature that invites you to breathe deeply. At the foot of the Grebenze, there is a place where you can retreat and regain strength.

NaturChalet

Our modern chalet in beautiful Lachtal has 2 bedrooms for 4 to max. 6 people (extra sofa bed in one of the bedrooms), 2 shower rooms, a sauna, a cozy living-dining area with fireplace and a dream view of the mountains! The kitchen is equipped with the usual appliances. Dishwasher and washer-dryer. Each bedroom is stocked with pine wood beds, for a good and healthy sleep. In winter we recommend snow chains!

Right on the edge of the forest is our cozy wooden house. With peace and good air, the relaxation can start immediately. There is a sauna and a conservatory. You are undisturbed in the spacious garden part or with a cozy get-together in the beautiful garden pavilion. From the front door you can hike the Grebenzen Nature Park. Well-maintained hiking trails and best air values are available on site.

Waldhütte KOSAK | Secluded location on the Alm

Spend an unforgettable time in the secluded, wildly romantic forest hut KOSAK, located at about 1,300 m above sea level, just a short drive via a private forest road from Trofaiach. In the cozy farmhouse, a table stove awaits you, providing cozy warmth. A wooden staircase leads to the upper floor with 4 futon beds. 👉 Our forest hut Kosak has been expanded: since May 2025 with shower & toilet!
