Double Loft Lodge

Nestled along the Mississinewa River near James Dean's hometown, Taylor Univ and Indiana Wesleyan Univ, we were originally named Harrisburg, until the natural gas boom of the 1800s. The town was renamed Gas City boasting to grow to a pop of 50 thous, but sadly the gas wells dried up. Visit the Gas City museum at 210 South A St opened 1-4 sat&sun, relax at Beaner Linn Park 701 S Broadway or visit one of our shops. Central Location. Very comfy & clean with view.

This lovely little retreat will not disappoint. I think you will find it to be a relaxing and comfortable place to spend your time in Muncie. We've provided the basics so that it can be your home away from home: fully functioning kitchen, coffee options, hi speed internet, towels, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, bedding, xfinity flex with tv, and board games. 1/2 mile to shops & dining or a walk along the river, 1 mile to BSU. Close the day grilling out while you watch the gorgeous sunset.

This property offers a lodge feel with the benefits of being right in the middle of Muncie close to Everything!! 2 miles or less to Ball Sate , Minnetrista , shopping, and restaurants. You have your own fenced in yard. There is also a private little porch and a fire pit to enjoy your evening. We also accept dogs. We do not require a pet deposit but if your pet causes any damage we will request restitution through this sight.
