Why not take a walk into town across the Aqueduct and visit some of our favourites such as Mooneys & Brennans or snuggle up to a log burning stove. The local Kids playground is a 5 minute stroll away should the kids need some play time.

But if its fishing your interested in then check out Lough Lene and Lough Bane, or one of the many other lakes around us.

In Monasterevin, this memorable place is anything but ordinary. It’s fully wooden construction imported from Lithuania. It’s seasonal camping style (from March to November) overnight experience for adventurous people who are walking or cycling through our beautiful canal side area or just stopping by for few nights to discover County Kildare. The nearest beach is about 90 minutes drive away in Galway

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.
