Welcome to "Cabin on Swede Hill". Our family has farmed this land since 1871. My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. There is a fireplace, dining room and convenient patio with sliding glass doors that lead to the outdoor patio The home is newly remodeled with wood floors and new stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. Each bedroom has a large smart TV for your enjoyment! The living room has a 65 in smart TV and there is also an under the counter TV in the kitchen. We also have a queen size electric airbed with extra pillows & linens.

It is located close to I57, Walmart, Community College, Airport, Fair Grounds, National Guard Training Center, 15 minutes from Olivet, 60 miles south of Chicago. King size bed and twin size sofa sleeper upstairs, full size sleeper sofa in living room. Well equipped full size kitchen and laundry. Large lawn, gardens, and chickens to enjoy.
