On weekends they are still - then you can watch deer or even a fox there. The apartment is located in the former engine shed of the train station and is stylishly/individually and comfortably furnished. It is now available for the first time after complete renovation of the building.

The self-contained apartment is located under the roof and impresses with its fantastic view over our small town. It is lovingly and functionally furnished so that you can feel comfortable. In the rough Oberwesterwald directly at the wild and romantic Holzbach Gorge, where the Holzbach has dug its bed into the basalt over the millennia, the days are simply different. Longer, more eventful, more relaxing. Feel at home here and experience a special place to recharge your batteries, strength and inspiration. Fire pit and kettle grill are available. Towels and sheets on request.

Westerwald time out

"Time out" is the motto here and stands for a few relaxing days in our cozy wooden hut on the edge of the Holzbach Gorge, in the "Fohlenwiese vacation village." The surroundings offer hiking trails (directly on the Westerwaldsteig) as well as swimming lakes and vast forests that can be explored by bike... For absolute relaxation, we offer an infrared heat cabin for two people.

For short breaks (cyclists/boaters) who want to stay one or two nights at short notice. Simple equipment, single kitchen, shower and toilet on the first floor, upstairs bedroom with double bed. A roll mattress can be used for children. No TV, no closet. Located one street from the Lahn. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place.
