Welcome to our “bakhuisje”: a national monument from +- 1700. The house is cozy and comfortable; living downstairs, bed is upstairs on the mezzanine. It has a cozy electric fireplace and a comfy couch. The bathroom has everything needed. Kitchenette (without cooking) with small fridge + coffee/tea and a beautiful view (vegetable garden, greenhouse, fruit trees). Of course WiFi and a workplace. Beautiful surroundings for walking/cycling and a small sandy beach in the river at 2 minutes walking.

Soon you will reach a black cottage surrounded by greenery; our guest house "De Hooischuur". As soon as you enter the detached cottage, it immediately feels like coming home. Our spacious studio of approximately 43 m² is located on the outskirts of the beautiful town of Oudewater and in the middle of the peatland area of the green heart. The studio is a wonderful space to relax for a weekend and enjoy nature, but also a nice place to stay longer and discover the surrounding cities. The studio includes 2 bicycles with which you can reach the supermarket in 2 minutes and in about 5 minutes you are in the picturesque center of Oudewater with delicious restaurants.

Monumental farm Het Vinkenest in Oud-Alblas, located directly on the waterfront "De Alblas". The mills of Kinderdijk are a few kilometers away and are of course a must to go to. The old city of Dordrecht can be reached by car within 10 minutes, and in 20 minutes you are in Rotterdam. Recently, there is also an 8-person sloop for rent as an addition. This is the ideal location for a great family weekend and not suitable for groups under 25 years of age.
