For meals, you can bring in ingredients and cook them in the kitchen, which has an IH heater, fridge, microwave, and toaster, or you can grill the ingredients on the lava plate or in the Irori pot on the Irori fireplace. There is also a field behind the house, and depending on the season, you can harvest fresh vegetables and eat them as they are. As a symbol of that, we renovated the staff dormitory of the Baba-no-Sato, located in Kasuga Onsen. Since Mochizuki means full moon, we scattered curves in various places and finished it with wood and plaster. From the window, you can see horses walking and dancing in the paddock. Kasuga Onsen is a small hot spring resort with a history of over 300 years, nestled in a lush natural setting. There are hot spring inns and quiet parks within walking distance, and a short walk away you'll find Mochizuki's unique shops.
