But it is also good to relax and relax in your own yard, on the terrace or in the grass with hammock, loungers, picnic table, fruit trees, flowers, birds, sheep meadow and chickens roaming around.

The houses in the park are both permanently inhabited and rented out for vacation. You can walk, cycle and mountain bike to your heart's content in the area. Cities such as Assen, Leeuwarden and Groningen are easy to reach. The house is fully and stylishly furnished and invites you to relax with a book by the fireplace.

Our lovely house is an old renovated farm, with all the comfort of today. The holidayhome de Drentse Hooglander has its own entrance, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen, a cosy living room with tv( netflix), a private garden and terrace. Our cozy vacation home overlooking the meadows. Due to the rural location, you can fully enjoy all the peace and space. Wake up to the chirping of the birds, and regularly there are deer to be seen from the house. The area offers plenty of opportunities for cycling and hiking. From the house, you are 500 meters into the forest to take a nice forest walk. The center of Staphorst is 3.5 kilometers away with a wide choice of shops.

This cute white cottage with a thatched roof is like from a fairy tale book! As if you really live in authentic Giethoorn. (North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. Without hordes of tourists. (They are in Giethoorn Zuid = 45 minutes' walk) Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.

At the edge of National Park Weerribben-Wieden, lies our holiday home located on the meadows. Enjoy nature and tranquility, but also a perfect base for exploring the Weerribben-Wieden. The towns of Kalenberg, Blokzijl, Giethoorn and Dwarsgracht are within cycling distance. Or rent a boat to view the Weerribben from the water.
