River Room with a Variety of Fun Amenities

Simple and clean space for calmness and clarity. Queen bed with memory foam comfort and down duvet to slip away into a deep sleep. Private entrance to a shared bathroom when there are guests in the adjacent room (Jack & Jill style). Great kitchen and food for making your own breakfast on your own schedule. A seven-person hot tub which is always on for relaxing in the midnight sun or cold winter nights. A lovely home to enjoy alone time, kindred spirits, or the gifts of Mother Nature.

An elegant bathroom is presented with natural stone walls and flooring. A glass-enclosed shower features a rainfall showerhead. A compact vanity with a sink is placed opposite a modern toilet. Louvered wooden doors provide storage space, and a small window allows natural light.

Room 3 has the view of the back garden. All rooms are located on the second floor. The master bedroom has a private bathroom and solarium. The two front rooms overlook the Parkstrip and have views of Cook Inlet and Mt.Denali. All rooms have queen-size beds with down comforters. City Garden is non-smoking.

Country log home. 8 miles from Palmer. Near the Bodenburg Butte. On drive in you will see mountain vistas in nearly every direction. Its beautiful. Guests are welcome to use kitchen while staying. My wife Glenda was born and raised in Alaska. I am originally from Mississippi. Glenda and I moved back to Alaska after I retired from 40+ years with Bechtel Corp. Alaska is my playground because of my hobbies - photography and cooking.

Perfect for family or larger groups sleeping up to 5. Sorry no pets in the home. Add the Rancher room, sharing the full bath between rooms for 7 guests. This room does not have its own private outside entrance but is accessed through front door on ground floor, then up 16 stairs. Guests can expect a farm with farm animals, dirt, and garden workers in varying sizes of grandchildren. Piano students also a possibility in winter stays.

Windflower B and B Sundown Suite

The upper floor which is entirely for your use only and not for any of the other guests, consists of three rooms (bath, bed, sitting), a king size bed as well as twin size and pull-out beds for extra guests in the sitting room. A private entrance for guests only, stunning mountain views and breakfast (cont. style) are also included as well as a kitchen and dining area. This is countryside tranquility and privacy but close to town.

A vibrant garden features clusters of bright orange poppies surrounded by lush green foliage. Tall blue flowers rise among the plants, creating a striking contrast. The garden is enclosed by a wooden fence, adding a sense of privacy to this colorful outdoor space.

This is a private room at Planet Anchorage B&B. My sweet Kim's Forbidden City features a queen bed w/ shared or private bath decorated in Hollywood Retro/Asian style. It's corny, cool and serene, located on the lower floor so there are stairs. If you desire the private bath I'll collect $16 for that. I reserve the right to substitute this room on an as-needed basis to suit guest needs. Breakfast upon request only.
