For families, there are also amusement parks/zoos and outdoor swimming pools nearby.

Located directly on the Maare-Mosel bike path, this place offers the best possible accommodation for cyclists, runners and hiking vacationers. Hiking trails, via ferrata, mountain bike trails and beautiful running routes are within easy reach from here. Nearby highlights include the Manderscheid Castles, the Daun Maars, the Holzmaar, the Mehrfelder & Pulver Maars, the Eifelsteig, the Lieserpfad & the new castle climbing trail.
