Corner townhouse with garden and terrace. On the 2nd floor, there is a bedroom, a children's room, an office with a couch (can be used as a sofa bed), and a bathroom with a bathtub and shower, all with underfloor heating and oak parquet flooring throughout. On the ground floor, there is a natural stone floor with underfloor heating, a large, light-filled living room with a couch (sofa bed available) and a TV with soundbar, a fireplace, and a large dining table, a kitchen, a guest toilet, and a utility room with heating and a washing machine. Wi-Fi throughout the house with a fiber-optic connection.

Half-timbered house

Our charming half-timbered house has two bedrooms, a small bathroom, a kitchen with sitting area and a living room. On the first floor there is a bedroom and the bathroom. Via the stairs in the hallway you reach the 2nd floor the living room with access to the kitchen. Another flight of stairs in the living room leads you to the open gallery as a second sleeping area. Please note that the cottage is not childproof due to the many stairs! Our basement has space for bicycles.

Kassel can also be reached by public transport via the train station in Guxhagen, which is 3 km away. The Mondsee, a swimming lake, is 2.5 km away.

Kassel is about 25 minutes by tram and about 20-25 minutes by car Non-smoking apartment for 1 – 2 people in Melsungen / Röhrenfurth. It is about an 8-minute walk to the tram. Every half hour to Melsungen (approx. 4 minutes) or Kassel (about 25 minutes). The historic old town of Melsungen offers shopping opportunities and has good restaurants.

The apartment is very quiet and is barrier-free, has bed linens and towels. Pets by arrangement. Just around the corner are Homberg (Efze) with the Hohenburg, the cathedral town of Fritzlar, the Edersee, the Singliser See, the Silbersee and many other beautiful lakes and nature reserves. The A49 and thus also Kassel can be reached quickly (about 20 minutes). We are right on site and are available for more tips and help. We look forward to seeing you!

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.

Vacation at Gut Sauerburg

Our manor with our animals: sheep, goats, ducks, chickens, cats and our dog Elli is only 5 km from the A7 / Malsfeld exit & yet in an absolutely secluded location in the middle of a nature reserve. You can use and explore our 20,000 m² lot. Not far from our farm you will find a unique vantage point. Here with us, the hare and fox say good night. There is also a trampoline/slide/sandbox/table tennis table …
