Idar-Oberstein, Germany's gemstone and jewellery town on the German Gemstone Route, is just minutes away: the Felsenkirche (Church in the Rock), the German Gemstone Museum, and the hiking trails of the Nahe region are right on your doorstep. Ideal for business travellers too — quietly located, with everything you need for a longer stay. We live in the main house and are happy to help with any questions — otherwise, you'll enjoy complete privacy. And if you're curious, we're glad to share more about the region's gemstone tradition — it has been our family's craft for 13 generations.

"Hunsrück Valley View" Holiday Home with SAUNA

A two-bedroom stylish and comfortable holiday apartment for up to four, with a terrace and picture-perfect view of the valley and mountains below. A cedar barrel sauna is available (at extra cost). The entire apartment was renovated in March 2024, including a new sauna oven (it gets really, really hot now), acoustic paneling, new kitchen with Bosch appliances (oven, dishwasher), rain-water shower, a washing machine with dryer, and new beds. You can also visit our herd of Scottish Highlanders!

Here, you have the opportunity to spend your vacation in a very special place… The log cabin is located on the outskirts of the Hunsrück National Park, by our stable in the municipality of Asbach-Weiden… In the accommodation, whether you are lying in bed, sitting on the couch, or preparing a delicious meal in the kitchen, you have a beautiful view of nature… During some months of the year, there are donkeys in the neighboring pasture…

The holiday home “Dorfperle” was newly built in 2023 and stylishly furnished especially for you as holiday guests. This great accommodation offers plenty of space and privacy for the whole family. There are two separate apartments, each almost 100m². Each apartment has a large bedroom and 2 guest or children's rooms, a large bathroom with a walk-in shower and washer-dryer, living room with a large couch and of course a fully equipped kitchen and large dining table.

It all started with a dream. Natural chalets to the national park. This is the name of our new vacation homes in Allenbach. The natural log houses are identically furnished inside. One chalet is called Franz, the other Marie-Luise. Like our two children. The smell of the wood brings the desired relaxation. A free electric car is available for the duration of your stay. You only pay for the electricity for charging. The electric car is a Hyundai Kona.

The holiday home Haus Cervus in Hattgenstein is the perfect accommodation for a stress-free holiday with your loved ones. The 170 m² property consists of a living room, a fully-equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and can therefore accommodate 8 people. We have excluded pets but dogs are allowed and welcome, The apartment is a few meters from the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park and very close to Erbeskopf and Idar-Oberstein. Restaurants, a bakery, a butcher and supermarkets are quickly accessible from the apartment by car.
