Beautiful home in the Lee Valley area of Cork
Located on a quiet farmyard with a large garden, 3km from the Lee Valley. Host lives in another farmhouse next door. Great fishing nearby in the river Lee, national rowing center also located within 10 mins drive. 25 mins drive from Cork city, 15 mins to the Blarney stone. Easy access to West Cork and Kerry region, all reachable with day trips. Lots of great walks nearby. If you need “fast”WiFi, this is probably not the location for you. We are rural and not served by incredible internet speeds.

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Six Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.

Come and experience life on a working dairy farm and you can even help milk the cows if you'd like to. The cottage has all the conveniences of a modern home including a washing machine, oven, electric hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. It has oil central heating. We have free wifi for your use. The Storehouse is located on the grounds of our family home at the rear of the property. It is accessed via our farm laneway and an electric gate.
