The Husky Hut-Pet Friendly, Remote, Private.

The Husky Hut is an adorable tiny home located on 10 private acres. It’s located on a well maintained gravel road with plenty of parking. This is perfect if you are looking to “camp” without the hassle of a tent and other equipment. It’s extremely private; there is no light pollution and the stars are magnificent. The cabin sleeps two guests. This is truly off-grid; no power or running water. There is a sled dog kennel nearby so expect to hear the “neighbors” during feeding time!

This 2 bedroom one bath cabin is a sure fire way to escape your daily grind. Excellent location for snowmobilers, close to snowmobile trails. For the summertime getaway we are minutes away from 3 inland lakes with many trails to hike your worries away. Centrally located making many highlights only an hour away. Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls, Crisp Point Lighthouse and many more. We use only natural disinfectant cleaners and fragrance and dye free laundry detergents.

The cabin sleeps two on a full thickness mattress sofa sleeper and is furnished with electric service, kitchen with gas range/oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, cookware, and utensils. Gas grill is also provided. The Loon gets its name from the resident mating pair of loons that visit each summer. You’ll have a front row seat to see and hear their calls.

Great location for snowmobilers! the trail is 2 blks away from our cozy rustic two-bedroom home in the village. A great home base for adventure in any direction. Tahquamenon falls, whitefish point lighthouse and shipwreck museum, pictured rocks, Kitch-iti-kipi (the big spring, Oswald's bear ranch, sault Sainte Marie, Mackinac Island. or many other things along the shoreline or The UP has to adventure.
