Our 60-acre farm features wooded walking trails, a stocked fishing pond, organic garden and a fire pit for an evening with your crew. Take advantage of farm activities or unwind in tranquil peace and quiet – your choice. We are half way between Charlottesville and Richmond, an easy drive to historic places, UVA and scenic wineries.

Soak in the cedar wood burning hot tub/cold plunge. Unwind in your private Sauna. Relax by a firepit with a pizza oven (dough, cheese, sauce, pepperoni supplied). Find some peace along the natural spring in the mediation/breathwork area. Hike/Bike on the trails. Put your feet up for a lovely outdoor projector movie night. River Bend Retreat is a self-guided wellness retreat that allows 2 guests to destress, reconnect to nature, and truly experience deep rejuvenation of mind, body, and spirit.

River's Edge - Private Suite

Our home is located in historic Louisa County on a five-acre wooded lot facing the South Anna River. Richmond is 30 minutes away and Charlottesville is less than an hour. The entire lower level of our home is used for the Airbnb. (We live in the upper level.) The decor is "homey" with some personal items. Children, pets, smoking, and vaping are not allowed. The internet is fiber optic with good cell service for most providers. Food deliveries are not available due to our remote location.

Enjoy Swimming, Kayaking, SUP, Fishing, Hiking, Biking, Exploring, or just relax on your own beach by the fire pit. Visit farm animals just a short walk around the lake...Theo the Cow, Sheep, goats, turkey, ducks, chickens, and rabbits.

You'll love this unique and romantic escape. Come and disconnect from the world and reconnect with each other in the Treehouse at Backabit Farm. You can enjoy the indoor fireplace or outside propane fire pit! Private deck for gazing at the stars or watching the wildlife. Two person hammock tucked under the trees! Inside you will find king bed with a view out of the three large windows, loveseat, tv, microwave, small fridge, coffee station and quaint bathroom with tiled shower.

Cozy 3BR, 2BA cottage in rural Virginia—perfect for peaceful getaway. Each bedroom has a king bed, plus daybed and pullout sofa for up to 7 guests. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TV, washer/dryer, and a dedicated workspace. Guests have full private use of the cottage and outdoor areas. Pet-Friendly Country Farm House on Pond Farm stay hosted by Julie and Rick Bring your dogs. We have a huge fenced yard for them to play in. Come and enjoy the peace and quiet. We have 40 acres of fields and woods to help you relax a little. With over a mile of maintained trails you can take your pet for a long walk.  Have a corn hole match or barbecue and just relax. Wineries and breweries are nearby.

Hawkwood House King Bedroom

Hawkwood House is close to Charlottesville, VA. It is in a 100-acre wood. Two guests share downstairs bedroom. Guests may use upper floor only with prior arrangements. It is a very quiet, peaceful setting. It is located near historic sites from colonial times of the United States and the Civil War and near Charlottesville VA and homes to three early US presidents (Monticello, Ash Lawn and Montpelier).
