Pullman Train Car at Rassawek

Our Pullman Car is one of 3 converted train cars available for rentals. The car was built by Pullman Co. in 1888. Guests staying in this car have access to the shared amenities of Rassawek Station including the patio “Flat Car” and our Lodge Cabin. Guests can also use the ponds on the property as well as the 5+ miles of private country roads for hiking, running and biking. The converted car has a living area, full kitchen, a bedroom with two double beds, a full bath with shower and a half bath.

Enjoy quiet, humble luxury: high thread-count sheets, oversized bath towels, firm mattresses and fluffy down comforters. All bedrooms have private en suite bath. Our 60-acre farm features wooded walking trails, a stocked fishing pond, organic garden and a fire pit for an evening with your crew. Take advantage of farm activities or unwind in tranquil peace and quiet – your choice. We are half way between Charlottesville and Richmond, an easy drive to historic places, UVA and scenic wineries.

River's Edge - Private Suite

Our home is located in historic Louisa County on a five-acre wooded lot facing the South Anna River. Richmond is 30 minutes away and Charlottesville is less than an hour. The entire lower level of our home is used for the Airbnb. (We live in the upper level.) The decor is "homey" with some personal items. Children, pets, smoking, and vaping are not allowed. The internet is fiber optic with good cell service for most providers. Food deliveries are not available due to our remote location.

Soak in the cedar wood burning hot tub/cold plunge. Unwind in your private Sauna. Relax by a firepit with a pizza oven (dough, cheese, sauce, pepperoni supplied). Find some peace along the natural spring in the mediation/breathwork area. Hike/Bike on the trails. Put your feet up for a lovely outdoor projector movie night. River Bend Retreat is a self-guided wellness retreat that allows 2 guests to destress, reconnect to nature, and truly experience deep rejuvenation of mind, body, and spirit.

Tugboat/Private Lake - Farm Animals - Fish, Swim,

Get swept away to a Magical Tug/Houseboat! Newly renovated with all modern conveniences, incl. fully stocked kitchen, full bathroom, AC, heat, & WiFi. Tug floats on an 8 acre private Lake w/ Island on 142 Wooded Acres, with 5+miles of hiking/biking trails. Enjoy Swimming, Kayaking, SUP, Fishing, Hiking, Biking, Exploring, or just relax on your own beach by the fire pit. Visit farm animals just a short walk around the lake...Theo the Cow, Sheep, goats, turkey, ducks, chickens, and rabbits.

Located just off I-64 and Route 250, Pinecrest House is ideal for guests visiting Charlottesville & Richmond who prefer a quiet retreat. It’s especially convenient for holidays, vineyard tours, family visits, and stays where multiple destinations are involved. With Firefly high-speed fiber internet, a large open kitchen and great room, and thoughtfully furnished bedrooms, it’s ideal for guests who want space, comfort, and quiet. Sleeps up to 6 adults comfortably (4 bedrooms + 1 couch).

You can enjoy the indoor fireplace or outside propane fire pit! Private deck for gazing at the stars or watching the wildlife. Two person hammock tucked under the trees! Inside you will find king bed with a view out of the three large windows, loveseat, tv, microwave, small fridge, coffee station and quaint bathroom with tiled shower.
