This is recent modern Barn conversion. (Jan 2015) It contains one large kitchen/dining/lounge area, one double bedroom with en suite facilities. June 2017 added second Living Space area with view of adjacent farm and wood, Lobby area with Laundry facilities and a second bathroom. Please note the Grounds and external outdoor perimeter of The Barn is protected by CCTV TK Alarm Company. Please know this is a simple place. Beautiful and full of character cottage was the farms dairy. Min 2 night stay at times, but one night stay may be possible with supplement. Total cost varies depending on total no. of guests and length of stay. Ideal if attending weddings at Cabra Castle, Tankardstown, Slane Mill or Darver Castle. The Peacock House is located within the Lismore Demesne. It was once the dairy and workers cottage. From the 1980s onwards it was used to house peacocks, giving the cottage its name.
