Charming private room in a farmhouse

Our farmhouse is situated at the famous black forest western hiking trail and on a hill with views overlooking three countries. Our guest room offers a small kitchen unit with a fridge where our guests can prepare breakfast and cold meals. There is no water supply in the bedroom but in the spacious bathroom opposite. You can find restaurants from vegan, traditional to haute cusine within a less than a mile. There are buses to Basel, Lörrach and Kandern. By car it takes 20 minutes to Basel.

A private terrace is equipped with lounge chairs and a small dining table, surrounded by a wooden deck. A large umbrella provides shade, while a potted plant adds a touch of greenery. Views of the surrounding area can be enjoyed from this inviting outdoor space.

Pfaffenberg is a small village at 700 meters above sea level above the Wiesen Valley with proximity to Switzerland and France. Our Black Forest house with a south-facing location offers up to three guests a cozy stay. The border triangle allows a variety of cultural and sporting leisure activities. I have traveled a lot myself, speak good German, English, French, Spanish and a little Italian and am always very happy about guests from near and far.

An open living and sleeping area is illuminated by natural light through skylights. A comfortable sofa is positioned near a TV unit, while a light dining table and chairs are set for meals. Soft curtains frame the windows, adding warmth to the space.
