Clara's cottage is a beautiful grade II listed fisherman's cottage on West Looe Hill. Built early 1800's it is quaint and full of character. Situated just 3 minutes stroll from the harbour and 8 minutes to the beach with fantastic restaurants, pubs & shops all within walking distance. All your needs are catered for within the cottage with 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, dining table seats for 4, home from home living area. For those rainy days we have a selection of games, books and DVDs.

1 Cliff Cottage, Portloe is a recently renovated fisherman's cottage with a large terrace and spectacular views of the harbour and out to sea. The timeless village has been the setting for many films and TV dramas including About Time, Poldark and the Wild West. The South West Coast Path is right on your doorstep and St Mawes, Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Caerhays etc are all nearby. Alternatively decide to just relax, pour yourself a glass of wine and let the world turn a little!

The most idyllic riverside escape! Gooseland Cottage sits on the edge of the River Tavy, close to the village of Bere Ferrers, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to Dartmoor National Park. Tides allowing, enjoy sailing, paddling, or swimming - within yards of your door. Or just soak up the view and read by the woodburner. A bird watching haven - egrets, swans, geese, avocets, osprey, European roller (2023) and this year ... a sea eagle! Masses of walking trails and cycling.

It is surprisingly big on the inside with an open plan layout on the ground floor (kitchen, dining area and lounge with direct access to the garden), plus a downstairs shower room. In under 5 minutes you can be by West Looe Quayside to watch the boats, grab a coffee and cornish pastie or start your coastal walks. Please be aware that the cottage is on a hill so it’s not suitable for anybody who will find that tricky. It takes approximately 4 minutes to walk up the hill from the Quayside. Smart TV, WiFi, Tassimo coffee machine.

Access to the rugged Cornish coastal path, Talland Bay beach and the historic village of Polperro are just 15 mins walking distance away to discover the beautiful beaches, coastlines, local pubs, restaurants and much much more. We are located just a 2 minute walk from the bus stop which you can take to explore further afield such as Looe, Polruan and Fowey.

The Cottage at Trevelyan -rural Cornwall

The Cottage is within the grounds of our home, Trevelyan, in a beautiful rural part of south east Cornwall. Coming by car is essential. It is an old farm building, sympathetically converted using the available space. The shower room is compact but perfectly adequate, there is a bedroom, kitchen/dining room and the living room has folding doors to bring the outside in!
